No one has ever overlooked that mate.

That's why asking circa £60M to let him go is unacceptable.

This is an £80M player. Other clubs (and many of our own fans) need to get that through their heads.
Its simple. His value to us is £80m+. Other clubs value him at £60m max. No-one is bidding more than 60million for him, they'd be stupid too. If he was their number 1 target, he'd be gone by now. They're aware of our horrendous financial issues and are banking on the board accepting 50-60million to clear some critical losses, knowing they might not get a better chance again.

The board are in a critical position here...they must stand their ground on his valuation and if not one bites, he stays!

We dont have any reason to sell Richarlison. He's not in his final year of a contract. If we keep our squad rather than get ripped off on Richarlison we still have enough plus a few loan deals to get by.

There's no knife at Everton's throat. We have a load of wages freed up now.

Dont fall for the hype that we need to have a fire sale over Richarlison.

He’s not signing a new deal though is he? So really we do need to sell him.

You dont know that. And so what? We get another seasosn out of him and sell him next season for less.

We just avoided relegation. The financial losses to us would be catastrophic if we failed to replace Richarlison with anyone near as good as him.

Well we shouldn’t be in a position where that’s the case, but unfortunately due to our utterly catastrophic running of the club for the past 6 years, we are. He will be sold and we must hope that whoever we replace him with is the right player.

With you there.

The club probably has a valuation, and I'll bet the player knows that valuation too.

Unless it's met he must stay.

Imagine if we sell 'cheap' and he has an incredible world cup?

(He may have a bang average world cup but his value won't plummet.)

Kind reminder to everyone that we can't do any real business until he goes and that if we go into next season with this team we'll be in a relegation battle.

yes that would be interested to know if there is any money to be spend if Richy stays. Mina/Gomes are on the list to be sold. But you are right it seems it will only be the Gray/Townsend/Winks type of signings if Richy stays.

What it really comes down to is if the player wants to stay,if he wants away it can be counterproductive to force him to stay.

Only for the right price.
