…..I know the lyrics to the chant but do we know exactly how much Richarlison cost?

i think it was £40m but I have no idea if that was with add-ons that haven’t matured. So, a possible £20m profit.

Not really, no.

We signed him as unproven, raw talent at 21. He'd scored 5 league goals and had a woeful end to his debut season at Watford.

We're selling him as a proven Premier League talent, a full brazilian international... at 25.

He's not in his prime yet.

That should have been factored in to the price.

We couldn't, because years of poor custodianship by Everton’s board and owner has given the buyer the leverage.

Levy smelt Everton's inept vulnerability a mile off.

On the 2nd point, theres no doubt we have got ourselves into a position of weakness. Absolutely agree with that.

However a lad at 21 who scores 5 goals has more value than one who scores 5 goals at 25 to be fair.

I'm not trying to move away from the anger at the 1st point. We know this board is horrendous.

Don't see how anyone can think this is a good deal at all. Also people going it's £60 million, well it might be and it's not guaranteed.

32m with add ons. None of the team ones (European qualification etc) will have been met. But individual ones will. Reckon we have probably paid 35m ish for him. With the 1m sell on 36/37m.

Sold for 50m down, 10 after. A profit of sorts.

"Richi had his mum on the phone to me, crying her eyes out she was, asking me to please grant him his wish of playing Champions League football. How could I deny him that?"

Watford get 10% of anything above £40m

Also look at the big 6 plucking all of the smaller teams best players from them.

Raphinha and Phillips from Leeds.

Bissouma from Brighton.

Richarlison from us.

Potentially Eriksen from Brentford.

It's like having 6 Bayerns, nice league lads.

Probably better to have 5/6 instead of 1 Bayern or PSG

There's no way on gods earth that Richarlison's value at Watford is the same or comparable as it should be now.

What's your point? His cost was inflated because he was 21 but he's now 25?
