I don’t really think you can say he went onto make bad choices, as he made a good career out of footy, despite his injuries and is still at Tranmere on their backroom staff.
He said himself that he allowed himself to be distracted from football at Everton and should have worked much harder. But he then went on to have a reasonable career at Huddersfield etc.

They're desperate for him to leave and go to one of their favoured teams.

They are fuming we stayed up and the RS didn't win the lot so will try bury us as much as they can.

Same with USM, the sponsers etc.

Funny how they dont mention the only positive thing around the club at present (BMD). I remember SSN amongst others doing regular reports of the progress of Spurs new ground whilst it was being built...

Hamstrings are bad for any player, but when you have the pace he had even as a 15/16 year old it's just cruel, weird how certain memories stick with you though, can remember that conversation so clearly and just how unbelievably excited Holden was just talking about the lad.
I was a big fan of Vaughan but I can only assume Holden was drunk if he said he was better than Rooney!

Watch him suddenly become not a diver in the eyes of the press if he leaves for one of the scum6

Think he’s been at Everton too long for that. If a player bins us off early enough (e.g Rooney) then he’s worshipped after he leaves us. Stay too long though and the media can never get over it, Lukaku Stones being prime examples, they’ve absolutely rejoiced in their failures at times and ignored their successes.

They’ll never give Richarlison the credit he might deserve if he performs at another club, his association with us is too great now and he’s taken too many shots at their favourite team of all time. They won’t forget that.

Reports about Anthony from Ajax going for 50 mill. All just adds more value to Richarlison’s sale price. Proven PL goal scorer, Brazilian international striker, young, barely injured, will accept reasonable wages.

We should be holding out for a huge figure.

Im biased but Antony at £50mil looks like a bargain.

Hard to tell how far Vaughan may have gone.

Those two upfront together could have been incredible for both Everton and England.

Many RS fans, and obv the out of town ones, have no idea its even started to be built.

Ive had comments on twitter saying "Hows the new ground doing??hahah" clueless.

We haven't got £50 let alone £50m. Even when we sell Richarlison we won't spend all of the money generated.

The biggest problem with James Vaughan was that he was too brave to his own good. I remember watching him when he was breaking into the first team and thinking to myself, 'this lad has got something special, unfortunately, mainly due to his fearless style of play, injuries got the better of him, but, he was a great talent.

With the Nunez fee as well - its got to be £85-90 million.
