Riots in the UK...

I pointed out ages ago that supposed met instructions to arm and defend your property clashed directly with uk laws of reasonable force. I am in no way advocating this but it could be argued that if a houseowner gained for example, a metal object or piece of timber, kept it print free and after using reasonable force put the object in the person's hand they would avoid criminal action. Such a dishonest person would of course always just state that they thought they were fighting for their lives.

You were wrong then, and you are wrong now. As long as you are on your own property you could tool yourself up with a [Poor language removed] sword and a fistful of javelins and no offence would be committed, and as long as you honestly felt you / someone else was at serious risk of harm you could use them against those causing the threat. In fact, thanks to the "instant arming" defence you could even run out into the highway and behead someone who was threatening the life of someone else, though of course you would almost certainly be nicked.

Ironclad is a very violent film, by the way.

As i said i am no way advocating that course of action but have had contact with individuals that have circumvented the law in this way. Personally, if they broke in downstairs id ring the police while they realise there is smeg all to steal. You come through my bedroom window, my personal safety is compromised and you will not walk out. America has it's faults but ive always admired its stance on home defence.

There's no way there should be council housing anyway, workshy scum, single mother, immigrants. They're lucky we don't break into their houses and kill every last one of them.

*awaits huge rep inlux*

No I already gave her them back lid when she left them here.

Rather you than me mate, i prefer ones who can remember their own name and don't smell of piss.

But each to their own.

Its a legal grey area. The main points are that you need to able to justify the force applied in direct relation to the personal risk and danger felt by the individual in that specific situation. Reasonable force can mean deadly force if you can justify your actions. Good luck with the justifiable beheading in court by the way.
