Just heard on the news that the guy who was shot didn't fire his gun and the bullet lodged in the police radio was a police bullet. Still doesn't make the rioting acceptable but makes for a lot of questions to be answered by the authorities.

My main question is how do you be that inept to shoot your own radio? Its like Police Academy, 'PROCTOR!!'

Not trying to pry and you don't have to answer, but i'm sure you had your reasons for that yet i reckon someone somewhere would of called you a worthless druggie loser for that, they would of just judged you from what they saw on the outside rather than understanding your reasons for being what you are and doing what you did.

looks like its been bad on smithdown/lodge lane last night, bricks ,bins bottles all over the place, the council cleaning up with police with them, pub that was turned into flats was hit bad loads of windows broken, mostly black and asians in there dont know why they got singled out, couple of cars windows smashed on spotford lane, the poor hurting the poor, madness

These riots have so little to do with the shooting it is untrue. Just an excuse for a good old fashioned pilage.

Just to update, not much happened in London last night, mostly manchester, liverpool and Birmingham, sadly most of them arent getting much press compared to London :/

Anyway, 3 people were murdered last night in Birmingham, hit and run - protecting their shop.

4 Fire Engines are unavailable for a few days/weeks and they get repaired in Liverpool, i wish i knew who was responsible for that so i can set their house on fire and see who they call.

Water Cannons will be made available over the next 24 hours by David Cameron, who to be fair is actually doing a pretty decent job over all this. Just wish they wouldnt prioritise London

there arnt any water cannons on mainland britain mate there in N/Ireland.
