I'd love to see the EFC of 2 years ago too, but the confidence is shot and rightly or wrongly the fans are very frustrated. We're going to have to get a few results before we can get back to those levels of performance.

Would you agree that two seasons of effectively going backwards and what's looking like two bottom half finishes would merit him getting sacked?

Depends on your view of the situation mate, this is our best chance in a long while to win silverware and if you believe the managers lost the dressing room (I do) then I think it's unwise giving him the semi final to potentially see us roll over. Obviously those who think the players will turn up regardless or still support the manager then I can understand your viewpoint.
I would put Joe in charge for the rest of the season. He must command massive respect within the club and would surely get the morale back in the changing room

Which part of English class did you miss mate? The part that failed to analyse a bit of poetic license, or the part that struggled to read a perfectly understandable sentence?

the lunatics really have took over the asylum and are

Made me sick in my mouth a little bit.

But enough about your lack of an English language degree. More about how you're being disrespectful to every blue out there. Let's not, ehy?

Par for the course mate....

How many Evertonians have signed the petition? I'd guess it's still a massive minority, but on here, the lunatics really have took over the asylum and are acting like it's the overwhelming consensus that the manager should be sacked.

The majority of Evertonians do want Roberto out. It's not magically the inhabitants of this website. It's all well and good and Davek-esk coining a phrase like 'lunatics taking over the asylum' but considering the majority of staff and mods including GOT himself want Roberto out kinda turns that little faux clever turn of phrase on its head.

There's good arguments for both sides and I totally understand those that have had enough. But personally no.

Not nice to refer to fellow blues as lunatics, even if your sentence is so grammatically disgusting that it's hard to understand.

Title of the thread's Martinez lads.

Nope. That was a turn of phrase... A cliche if you will. But I still think the vast majority of evertonians don't want to sack him right now.

Of course, if anybody thinks this site is a true representation of blues, and there's not a single kopite lurking, then they need to give their head a wobble - there's a post in the kopite thread basically alluding to the fact that they come on here. Something along the lines of "Don't use the word blue in your username - they're on to it now"

It's the frigging internet, there's wums and trolls all over the show.

...beg to differ there mate.

Judging by the Evertonians I meet in real life, I'd say the poll doesn't reflect reality. Because close to 100% of the ones I know want him out.

So you're suggesting that the poll is the result of kopites and trolls?

And you're suggesting that people who believe the current poll result here should give their head a wobble?

Do you go to Goodison mate?

Every Blue I know personally wants this manager out now. The consensus has grown over the last 15 months, we're probably all lunatics eh....

That's what I said in my most recent post. I'm more concerned about the fact that he's calling fellow blues lunatics, aren't you?
