To be fair to the pro Martinez squad on here they are heavily out numbered at the moment and are getting set upon. So naturally they have to resort to baffling and cryptic posts.

We're behind against Utd and he takes off our most productive player. In fact I don't get why he's not playing Dela most games. Ok, he's not great at defending, he can join the club with all our defenders but he produces assists at twice the rate any of our other players do.

Maybe he's just trying to stop Barca from wanting to buy him back, or maybe he's just a fool, I don't know but I give up. lol

That's what I said in my most recent post. I'm more concerned about the fact that he's calling fellow blues lunatics, aren't you?

One thing at a time.

1. Don't play the ref
2. Do as you're told
3. If someone's acting out of order, use the report function

I havn't read everything here so don't know exactly what's going on, and I'm about to logoff, but it would depend on the context.

The current thing seems to be that he continues to get paid for a year while he finds another job. If you think you can get a job quickly then you can actually 'double dip' on salary too.

Explain that mate? I don't think if he finds a new job quickly we still pay him for the year?

As to where he might go, its a managerial merry go round!
I would imagine any of the mid table clubs who flirted with relegation this year might be interested, any of the championship promotees or a Europa league level european club.
Whether he would be successful at any of these (especially in the EPL) is debatable given that defense and grinding outt points is not his forte.

I don't think he'll be touched by any English team. Off to Spian for him I feel.

Par for the course mate....

How many Evertonians have signed the petition? I'd guess it's still a massive minority, but on here, the lunatics really have took over the asylum and are acting like it's the overwhelming consensus that the manager should be sacked.
Even if it's the majority who do want him gone, and to be honest I've no idea if that's true, it feels a bit strange for so many to suggest if you're not agreeing then you're clearly winding people up. Even if it's a minority it's still a huge percentage of people who are being made to feel like they're saying they've bought magic beans.
It's a strange mood to be heading towards a semi final

The fact that he thinks this is all to do with how he feels about the manager.
Ok.

As I said earlier, emotions are running high, 100% of the time, about something we all care passionately about (Everton).

Things are being taken way too personally by everyone at the mo, we all need to remember that we're all blues at the end of the day.

Disagreement is fine, but it is very very ok to agree to disagree.

Agreed

This just highlights what I've just said above. I'm not picking on you personally, don't take this to heart, just as an example.

We're all Evetonians, and we need to accept that having a difference of opinion is not a bad thing. It's healthy.

Splitting blues into 'sides' is not healthy. Agree to disagree people, whatever your opinion on Martinez.

Nope. That was a turn of phrase... A cliche if you will. But I still think the vast majority of evertonians don't want to sack him right now.

Of course, if anybody thinks this site is a true representation of blues, and there's not a single kopite lurking, then they need to give their head a wobble - there's a post in the kopite thread basically alluding to the fact that they come on here. Something along the lines of "Don't use the word blue in your username - they're on to it now"

It's the frigging internet, there's wums and trolls all over the show.
Maybe I need to change name to OldGit?

Fair do's. To be fair its only come about due to some strange posts that were written to cause a reaction. But I'll reign it in.

So you're suggesting that the poll is the result of kopites and trolls?

And you're suggesting that people who believe the current poll result here should give their head a wobble?

Do you go to Goodison mate?

Every Blue I know personally wants this manager out now. The consensus has grown over the last 15 months, we're probably all lunatics eh....

Not suggesting it's the result of trolls and wums at all. Just don't really think the majority of Everton fans want to sack our manager tomorrow.

He's been arse poor in the league for the last two seasons, but he wouldn't be the first successful manager to oversee a choppy few first seasons.

I admit, I'm running out of excuses for him, and even as somebody who might be viewed as an ardent supporter, I say that he's got 6 months MAX, to turn it around....
