Emotions are running high everywhere, it proves the discontent within the fan base, something I've never ever witnessed like this before.

Those who want Everton to lose are at the height of their frustration, they are not an on a windup like some posters, they have clearly had enough of and see this has the only guaranteed way.

While I never want the blues to get beat, regardless of my feelings towards the manager, I feel sorry that some fans have got that point. It's a truly shocking stare of affairs that has been placed on this marvellous fan base.

It's a sad state of affairs at this once giant of English football, let's all hope of a win today and a cup at the end of the season and hopefully our new owner will make the right call on the managerial front.

C'MON YOU BLUES

If you could *guarantee* me that it would lead to Martinez going and a properly top drawer manager coming in, then I'd grudgingly take the loss against Watford.

But it is baffling how enthusiastically some people want us to lose games, when there's absolutely no guarantee of anything along those lines happenings.

My thinking is - want us to win, but going into today with the very unusual feeling that if we lose it won't feel like the end of the world as it will mount pressure to possibly force a change vefore the semi.

similar to the way i felt against city 2 seasons ago in that regard

Honestly think that until the united situation is sorted we won't see our sorted, think we could genuinely be holding out hoping they stay with LVG, if mosh has connections like supposedly he does with Mendes then we could well be pencilled in as Mourinhos plan B if he has gotten word that United is far from a done deal - failing that think Pelligrini will be sounded out

Quite possibly, I'd be genuinely surprised I'd that hasn't already been sorted in secret.

But you could be right, we've said it numerous times in the past, but this could be our biggest ever summer, literally shape the club for the next 10 years

Moshiri hasn't just on a whim bought us, he has checked and double checked everything about the club over the last 18 months the deal has been in the offing since he first had contact etc, to think that over that time he or some of the specialists he hired to analyse every department of the club haven't indentified a managerial upgrade as an area of improvment would be a bit blind.

Pretty sure we have a Plan A to go ahead with as far as what manager we have identified and maybe even opened prelim discussions with and a Plan B that supercedes it if Mourinho falls through at United, pure speculation on my part i will admit, but a lot of people are overlooking just how connected and succesful our new owenr is and you don't become that in the areas he has made his money and dealing with those people withough being both ruthless and having both short and long term meticulous plans worked out.
