I'm fortunate enough to have had the means to watch Everton regularly both home and away for many a year now. I see it as a privilege.

Others haven't been that fortunate, but for someone to quaff at their support or opinions simply because they do not regularly attend annoys me.

Yes watching at GP does give you a different dynamic be that the atmosphere, the subtle things you don't see on TV or the whole experience.

And sometimes that experience does add extra perspective in certain arguments, but that doesn't mean our opinions worth any more that yours.

In fact, I know some ST holders who are utter buffoons and their opinion hold little or no weight as they regularly watch with their blinkers on.

We should be wanting to expand our fan base and bring people into the fold... not pushing them away because of their bloody post code.

I just liked the bit where people like me, @Kiwi, @McBain , @deipnosophist etc are called lesser fans whilst we get up at 3am to watch Everton lol

But. You'd hope so. As it's all a bit messed up at the minute.

For me the most likely thing is we get knocked out in the semi, which will hurt again. And he goes in the summer.

...starting to feel I'd rather actually do that TBH than get to the subbies under the flyover every coupla weeks with a massive urge to scream and swear and - in turn - run the risk of getting sectioned.

If you're a blue you're a blue, you're worth ten of 'them', always will be, no matter where your support comes from...

Now, must away to finishing knitting my 'GO RIC WEE' scarf...

The opposite of your blind all forgiving love for him is not hate

Finally, I don't see why you would question anyone as people for wanting the best for Everton.

Just because there are different opinions on the best way to achieve that doesn't give you the right to question their character because you've got a little audience to cheer you on.

You're very 'reactionary'.

"Blind forgiving love?' -- Ive not stated i like Martinez particularly, i've clearly said he should have the summer and cash to spend + see how he does next season. Thars hardly 'blind forgiving love'.

As for wanting a different manager to win the cup, well its just bizarre. His record shows one FA cup to his name and also this season he has got us to 2 semi finals -- good cup form. I'd go with that rather than an unknown quantity.

As for a 'audience', i actually sent a message to oldblue on this thread which led to heaps of responses. Also as @Elong has compiled another thread showing one or two posters who want the team to lose today (also seen a couple more on here) then its a valid point that some people need to take a look at themselves....or do you want us to lose so that Martinez gets sacked?

Personally i think unless someone has some serious personality issues with Martinez @Saint Domingo posted something which was spot on. If Martinez can improve results then why would anyone want him gone?

I dont have any agenda + am consistently saying simply that i like his signings overall and want to see what he can do with some money this summer.

Hardly revolutionary.

Zat you defend him to the hilt even when he's blatantly in the wrong as in the Baines presser situation

I'm not going to repeat the list of nothing teams we beat to get to the LC semi or the FA cup quarter where we met a barely recognisable Chelsea. Please don't try to use those to give him credit.

Even you could have gotten us there

All you are trying to do is get the pitchforks out for anyone with a different opinion to you

The only fork needed is the one to stick in Martinez because he's done
