I was thinking it would be, but having just watched BBC Breakfast I'd be very surprised now if it was. A memorial service for the 96 is happening today, and Everton football club will be in attendance laying 96 roses..

I was convinced today was to be the day. But if a deal is done with Pelligrini and the temporary management team are in place then it doesn't matter that the club doesn't sack him on the day of the Memorial Service.
All the above is based on Everton board having all the ducks in a line, we all know that doesn't happen very often.

Quiet protest without making our feelings really known, as we are always the good, classy guys and we will never break out of that phenomenal showing of character. Then laugh at everyone else for having essentially successful protest...

The "Everton Way" if such a thing exists, differs from generation to generation I suppose. I don't recognise today's Everton Way in the slightest. I recognise, underachievement, mediocrity and just downright blagging. But there was always a word for that, it was called failure.
