Barkley aint a great player. Not yet anyway. If he just realised how good he is then we would have a proper diamond on our hands.

Id say he has more ability than Deli Alli but Alli is incredibly confident and it makes him a much better all round player. Barkley is what? 22 now? An England International and a regular in the top flight for 3 years. He shouldnt need someone to hold his hand anymore.

I agree, but he should not be played like the way he has been played by Martinez. This has destroyed him. His mental strength and ability would have developed if he has been played behind a striker like he states is his strongest position. Martinez is square peg round hole, its his way or the highway, and the players want to play! I think most of the squad look unhappy the way they set up, i think 2nd half Wembley they took it upon themselves and ignored the ` broken guff philosophy` spouted by the manager/ relegation specialist

Everything could change in just a day. There could be an almost immediate change from despair to elation.
I don't think there has been any damage done to the club.
We have not lost a single player yet , any of the better players will fetch big money if they force through a move.
I take absolutely no notice of the stories about Barkley and the couple of times I have seen Yarmolenko this season I have not been impressed..
 
I don't know when the meeting is, but I'm going to bed - it's 11.00pm - and I'll be back here in the morning hoping that
they aren't dilly-dallying. Just do it, now.
 
Barkley's not fit. It seems to me that he is far too muscular and not lean enough. Too many weights.

Deli Ali covers more ground and scores lots and looks a lean machine. Barkley looks like he should be at St. Helens.

Also, aside from fostering two kids, he works with disadvantaged kids, trying to get them to get their acts together and he loves it.

I doubt he would step away from that.

Hmm yeah i think he is better further up but I do recall a lot of people saying he should play further back too.

As for the playing for themselves stuff. I think thats disgraceful if thats the case. The players have got off way too lightly for me this season.
