For you.

D'you think it meant nothing for every Evertonian at the final whistle last night?

I'm amazed how any Everton fan can minimize cup runs into the semi finals like we get to them every season. Well we dont.

Mate you've misread my post, im still absolutely made up about last night and I'll be going down to Wembley, what I'm not doing is down playing last night, I'm not sure why u twisted that way.

Anyway it's true tho a cup run means nothing unless you win it, right or wrong?? Or are u of the mentality that it's the taken part that counts??

Just for the record mate I'm still on the keep Martinez side of the fence, lighten up a bit

One poster who claimed I was blaming the fans when saying the atmosphere was crucial yesterday then went on to pretty much say his support was conditional on the manager deploying tactics he completely agreed with. And there's obviously those whose support is conditional on Mirallas playing.
All the time they talk about 'the fans' to fans, who presumably are not allowed to state what they think would help.
Clearly by 'fans' they mean 'me and anyone who likes my posts'.

Messed up really isn't it. lol

...how isn't reaching the latter stages of a cup significant, yet presumably for you securing 5th or 6th in the league is?

You said in an earlier post that getting to the latter stages of the cups would excuse the league form, I'm saying it wouldn't unless we win the cup. We obviously differ on opinions

I've never mentioned 5-6th, we both know with this squad and the league the way it is that this year we could have got top 4, atleast agree with me in that??

So if he wins the cup then the league position is excused, but I just can't see how getting to the latter stages can excuse a terrible league season

To be honest nobody is to blame except Thatcher. Thirty years of being told you just need to want something enough and it'll happen. And now we have fans who think an FA cup semi final is nothing special
...it's like she said about people who travel on public transport being failures...the FA Cup is seen as public transport to the Bentley of the sooper dooper all singing all dancing "Barclays" Premier League

Your're more likely to keep them with the man who brought them in still being there than not.

True - the man needs to produce the results consistently though or they'll lose confidence in him.

Barring the huge mess up against West Ham though, we've been mostly great this year.
