He's got a massive opportunity in the next two games v Arsenal and Man Utd.

I'm a bit too excited to see what he can do, he's moved on a level recently.

Im just really scared for the lad, another injury now would knock him for 6, as would being left out in the next 2 games, its his chance to shine, to make a mark, SCARED.

I also get the sense were close but it could be customary fan over optimism.

Certainly after years of being told of glass ceilings and knives to a gunfight I think the margins that exist now are far less surmountable.

Again the pertinent question is can Martinez bridge that gap. We will find out.

I think he will mate. Some of the players can't escape criticism for some of the points thrown away this season. There's not much a man can do when stood on the sidelines and watching a team fall to pieces. Absolutely inexcusable some of the points we've dropped, and I find it difficult to blame it all on one man.

Lets never forget that Mo Besic is quite possibly the finest midfielder of his generation

In the best possible way, I want you to know that's complete nonsense. We've all indulged your enthusiasm but I'd love to you to share with us those league-turning or cup-winning moments when he manifested his legendariness. I have every hope that he'll do it, but currently he's a sub with huge potential and in that world, I am more concerned with keeping Del than Mo.

I hope we win the FA Cup...and make Europe...and keep all our good players. I'd love Hibbo, next season to hold aloft the PL trophy. Imagine; him and R Martinez, arms around each other, holding it aloft together...winners!!!!

Just before my time

I never got over it. Me and me Dad were main stand ticket holders in the 70's, I went down to the Enclosure with my mates in the 80's and in the 90's, lower Bullens. The 70's were a horrible time, those bastards across the park were relentless, the team and their supporters, scarred me for life. Having to put up with the [Poor language removed] we've had to endure for the last 20 years has been galling. When Moyes said knife to a gunfight that was anathema to me and stood for how low we had fallen. He or the board just didn't get it. So when you call for patience you're probably right but I've been waiting a long time. Our day will come.

I reckon the events in the past month have brought that day closer.

Can't wait. It's been a long time coming as you illustrate. I was lucky enough to remember the mid eighties. Just one more time please Jesus lad.
