I'm not gonna do a chico and dig through 50 pages of mind-boggling posts to see the numerous times he's offended people by calling them various names just because they don't agree with him, but it has happened a lot. In fact he's done it to me as well, but I didn't really do much, just pointed out to him it's uncalled for and he stopped for a bit, which is fine by me - things get heated up, people say things they probably don't fully mean etc.
Fair enough. Hadn't seen that. Think the insults bring everyone down and gets counterproductive: no humor, no analysis. But I'll stop whinging about GOT and focus my fume on that shower of lazy imposters who lost at home AGAIN!

The Arsenal fans had a Wenger out banner today.

They sit in the top 4, just been to the Nou Camp and have won 2 pots in the last 2 years.

But they still think it's time for a change, as they want more and mostly think that Wenger has had his day.

Compare and contrast to us, sat in 12th in the league with a £60m striker in the side, and stand on the brink of a second successive season where we finish bottom half. Yet some on here think that Martinez should get another season off the back of cup runs, it absolute madness and accepting his failure as being good enough for little old Everton. It isn't - he needs to clear his desk as he's failed, it's that simple.

I don't want to see the kind of limp, half arsed, tactically inept garbage that we produced today served up by this gonk next season

Understand the point made, but it's a weak comparison to a club with a lot more going for it, of course they should be performing better. We're still a step below them in many ways.

The worse thing is, Arsenal didn't have to be better to win today.

I'm pretty certain now RM is a manager for 'one-off' games - e.g. cup games.

Other than that, he isn't consistent enough and I think we need to get rid in the summer.
Thing is mate, that I don't intend to come across as snobbish. I have presented my case against R Martinez for months and its groundhog day for me having to re-present them. So apologies if my posts appear sweeping and insulting. I guess it's because I'm despairing that some people can not see what is in front of their eyes. R Martinez is not the man to take this club forward (indeed, quite worryingly, he will do the opposite).

Some don't see it that way though, they give players credit for winning, but not to Martinez, then when we get beat Martinez gets slated to death, and the players get off free.
I never understood that. When the team wins and everyone plays well and all the decisions are good - I'd expect more of our fans in seeing what happened. I still have my reservations and had them after the Chelsea game, but in that one, just like in several other games in the last 2 years, he's got it spot on - team selection, way to play, who to counter etc, everything was 100% correct. Sadly, not too often this happens...

Fair enough. Hadn't seen that. Think the insults bring everyone down and gets counterproductive: no humor, no analysis. But I'll stop whinging about GOT and focus my fume on that shower of lazy imposters who lost at home AGAIN!
Agreed with all that really mate ;)

Well, at least we're in a position to win a trophy this season. Only 6 teams at present are in that exclusive club in England.

To be fair our season has been crap we have beaten average teams in the cup even Chelsea have been average, we blew the Man City advantage in the league cup and if it was not for Lukaku's brilliance we would have had a replay.

A lot of pundits are saying Coleman is going downhill at Everton, Ross Barkley has been overtaken by Ali, things are not going to be good and I don't want Martinez here anymore.

I have often felt the same thing about Martinez I felt about Moyes. Director of football. This leads me to suspect that the behind the scenes of Everton's scouting and history and the fans and the whole culture of the club, the people are keeping us a big club. That is why Martinez wanted the job that is why Lukaku came here for 28 million. Martinez is not Wenger, Mourinho, not a Sir Alex Ferguson and never will be.

They often say the club is bigger than anyone player , the club is also bigger than one manager and Martinez may have done well at one point and may have his heart in the right place but the fans deserve better.

The fans are the most important people and we are not happy.

McGeady showed plenty of promise at Everton but for some reason Martinez did not get the best out of him and the fans turned against him and Martinez had no problem ditching him.

Ross Barkley is making more mistakes then when he first got into the team and his natural talent is not being used to get us wins. His stats may be acceptable but he is better than this.

Everton is not a poisoned chalice anymore it is a fantastic opportunity.

I reiterate again there is no point getting rid of him unless we get somebody like Mourinho in.

Hand on heart you know if we have appointed someone like Joe Royle until the end of the season everything would change and we would have a better chance of winning the FA Cup than we do with Martinez and the current feeling around the club. That's why Kenwright was desperate to call him a great manager while he was on camera and next to Moshiri.

Duncan Ferguson does not strike me as a permanent manager who would deal with the media non-stop but why not appoint him until the end of the season. Roberto Di Matteo won Chelsea their first Champions League and he was no long-term, say the right things type, like Martinez.

Not good enough. We are Everton... we share a brilliant fantastic history along with Liverpool Football Club who would not exist if it was not for Everton and we must remain Everton.

Lol.
