Give the fans something to cheer, and it won't be.

You're 100% spot on though. I believe the players just don't seem up for home games anymore. It's not the fans job to make the players feel homely. It's the players jobs to make the fans loud, and boisterous, and make Goodison a cauldron.

I'm hopeful Moshiri has some genuine ambition. As he said, Everton is about winning games. Something our Bobby hasnt done enough of. That needs to change, quickly. I suspect he has to start next season quickly - or hes gone.

Personally, I agree with Lukaku. We have a top 4 side that has underperformed for two successive seasons.

...y'see - coupled with results like - that's the exact kind of patronising fluff that infuriates me about the man.

I genuinely find his pressers more oft than not vague at best and some of the post-match stuff verges on plain insulting.

I remain in the 'out' boat, have been so for a while, because ultimately I believe he's little more than a mediocre (lucky) cup manager with little idea how to set teams up to continually/consistently flourish in the league...never has been able to, never will.

Yet some assume a good (lucky) cup run cancels out us finishing between the 12th & 15th spots. Again.

It doesn't.

Our 20+ goals per season striker has practically told us so.

Can we stop pretending Lukaka is not on our team. Things are bad enough without folks coming up with make believe scenarios that are even worse!!

you are right of course. But in all honesty, I can understand the players lack of inspiration. I cannot listen to a word of drivel that R Martinez spouts. He's a bullshit merchant. How can he inspire them?
And their demotivation is out there on display, most home games.
It's a disgrace that we have such an imposter managing our club.
