I keep on hearing about last weeks 2-0 against Chelsea, that game was heading towards a pretty dull 0-0 until the big man done the damage, performance wasn't all that great.

Nah credit where it's due, the performance was a good one and RM got his tactics spot on.

The problem is that he seemingly doesn't have a clue how to recreate that consistently

Honest question guys, I come on here every couple of months and read some of the lunatic ramblings of davek for a day or two and even with such sparse exposure it utterly exhausts me. How on earth do you lot cope arguing against him on a daily basis?

Didn't he also say something along the lines of "we lost, but played phenomenally well" last year? lol

He got the wrong job. He should be a politician.

Twisting the words and finding excuses are his main strength. Of course most of his signings are good he just does not know how to get the best out of them.

It's inexcusable now! Without Lukaku's goals we'd be in a relegation battle now.

Worries me how Bill was gushing about Roberto just last week though.

Maybe Martinez is a master manipulator a'la Derron Brown and Bill is under his spell. I reckon the trigger word is phenomenal which in turn makes Bill wee a little

Out of curiosity, why have Niasse and Kone on the bench, if you're not going to use them when 2-0 down and you've got a sub up your sleeve?

If you noticed against West Ham our great manager when we were 2 0 up with 10 men took a defender off and put a striker on (Niasse) and today we were 2 0 down he takes off a midfielder and put on a defender. Go figure !!!!
