Any idea what was the net turnaround from last week?

Not sure, but I think the Out's gone up about 100 this week ? The In's barely moved since Pre-Bournemouth when it stood at 474/746

Coming back from the match on the train yesterday the overwhelming feeling was his time should be up soon, and these aren't knee-jerkers, they're season ticket holders who've been going for decades and, even when we were awful last season, were prepared to persevere with him.

He's lost the fanbase and I don't think even a cup win will get most of them back, because most people no longer believe he can break the glass ceiling

Time will tell

If you're Moshiri and you're considering giving £100m to a manager to spend you'll want to be confident in his ability to use it well. In general, RM has been good in the transfer market but he should be performing better in the league than he has been.

If I was about to 'invest' money in the team I'd want to be confident I'll see an improvement in our results. Could anyone say, presently, that they're confident we will see improved results next season if RM is given a substantial amount to spend?

I imagine most people would be concerned at best. I'm pretty sure Moshiri and BK will be concerned over our form. They won't show it in public as it's counter productive but they'd be stupid not to be concerned, wether they decide to stick with RM or not.

With Moyes currently available they'd have a ready made replacement, who's also good in the transfer market and we know would tighten up our defence. BK is a big fan of his despite how some fans feel about him after the Utd fiasco.

That's not to say if they got rid of him they would go for Moyes but it's not beyond contention that it might happen.

I found myself nodding pretty much in agreement (Martinez can be trusted to spend cash...does hehave the confidence of Moshiri over getting results? Who knows...or even knows if he's a decision maker in that respect)....then the name Moyes came up.

The feller is a standing joke in the game. No one wanted him at Everton at the end, then he stabbed the cub in the back. I dont know what Moyes is hanging about for (probably the Celtic job if they'll have him) but there's no way he'll end up back here.

As time goes by, it is becoming obvious that maybe, yes.

I think of it as a sliding scale, where the middle is perfect.

When Moyes left, we were too far to the left. Martinez came in and steered us to the right, and for a time we were in the perfect zone.

Unfortunately, Martinez then continued to steer right for two years and has subsequently actually put us so far right that even UKIP are jealous.

I think an accurate story of our season to date has been too many draws and annoying defeats.

We have not gone 5 games without a victory but only managed 3 wins in a row once and 1 of those victories was Carlisle in the cup.

We have only managed two wins in a row 4 times this season and 2 of those consecutive wins include fa cup wins over Carlisle and Bournemouth.

Ironically and tellingly we are in the best form of our season right now with six wins out of our last 9 games

I'm begging for some balance in this thread

It's things like this that pretty much confirm to me you're a total WUM.

It's entertaining though!
Yeah, because we all should bow down and worship the great money God.

It's just a league mate, and not even the best...as the CL hammers home right now.

And we dont play them all at home do we...or all in the sooper dooper Barclays Premier League.
C'mon Dave, if we can't judge a manager on his performance in the 'Sooper Dooper Barclays Premier League', then what exactly can we judge him on?

Can't wait for your answer here.
