But your basing all this on them performing at the top of their games and judging the Everton players on their current form.

Kante is better than Gibson, the rest of our midfield is far superior, same with Drinkwater and please dont try and tell me that Robert Huth has suddenly become Bobby Moore, hes an utter yarddog who is playing very well in a team that is performing way and above their standard.
Haha
This is were I agree to disagree mate.
Think you do Drinkwater & Kante an injustice.
Their centerbacks do exactly what they're supposed to do.
The only way we are Vastly Superior is Potential, and quite frankly my patience is wearing a bit thin waiting for some of our" Superior" players to realise that potential.
Stand by what I said earlier , statistics & league position suggests otherwise. Would Mourinho persist with with our "Vastly Superior players ?"

Similarly I can change my view if he shows something new before the end of the season. His team selections are a little too predictable. He has more options at his disposal than he is showing. Dropping Stones because of a media backlash hardly shows someone who is certain of his footballing philosophies.

It is not untrue to say we have been unlucky at times this season, but it has been generally and undeniably very depressing regardless.

We have been unlucky, we have our hard luck tales, just like every team in the league, but when something happens time and time again, at what point does it go from coincidence to normal?

Not just us mate, I suspect there are at least 10 other teams with better squads than them.

Its not just us who should look at them with much envy.

Win the cup or not, it is the league that is a true barometer for the season.

Nobody at all is questioning the cup runs, we're questioning how on Earth we have the second worst home record in the whole of Europe and we're in the bottom half for a second successive season.
Everyone is questioning it. But when the answer seems obvious to you it could be you're not looking hard enough

They remind me of Notts Forest when Clough brought them up (yep i can remember that)
Mixture of has beens, journeymen and players with a point to prove.
They were considered inferior by the Big Boys , history tells us they werent.
