They remind me of Notts Forest when Clough brought them up (yep i can remember that)
Mixture of has beens, journeymen and players with a point to prove.
They were considered inferior by the Big Boys , history tells us they werent.

The tinkerman is no Clough, nor is he a SAF.

Everything has just ticked for them mate, Vardy missed what 2 weeks? Very lucky with injuries, an amazing team spirit and a desire to ram words down throats of people like me who said their bubble would burst.

Remember plucky Everton? Thats them, on beak.

I think the players will actually get into gear for an FA Cup game. Today we were awful, I can't deny it. Maybe a few of the lads are already thinking about their moves next season but they will want to win that trophy. Martinez will get next season whether we win the FA Cup or not and I think most people realize that.
No he won't.

Yep.
Reverse Sods law, everything that could go right, has gone right.

Haha like it.
What i like tho is they have stripped togger back to the roots.
Every other team is obsessed with fancy formations (half the players havent got a clue what they are doing)
Rainieri comes in , old fashioned two banks of 4 & 2 up top .Refreshing.

Forum opinions, normally won't influence boardroom level decisions. The media influences them to an extent although not as much as you seem to think imo, otherwise wouldn't Man Utd have sacked LVH ages ago?

Forums might reflect more extreme opinions from either side of the coin, but the truth is at the end of the day, the board probably have many of the concerns that many fans do, just they're probably more considered and reasoned than most supporters will be.

I think you're far too confident in your belief that his job is safe, although many people who want him out are jumping the gun in believing he's on the verge of getting sacked imminently. I think if they're concerned about him they'll get rid of him soon after the season has ended. My guess is they probably have mixed views on him at present.

I've just skimmed about 20 pages of this thread, and this is probably the most balanced post and the one closest to reality that I've read.

*gasp*
Feel betrayed here Woolly...

Seriously though, I imagine the ownership will be concerned and will assess at the end of the season the managers position.
There's no benefit in the upheaval a midseason sacking would provide, if anything it would distract the team and derail our chance at silverware this season.

# Martinez & co. Time to go.

Needs Kenwrights plane banner changed and flown over Goodison every game until the end of the season :red:

Would you be more confident of Bobby or Jose leading us out at Wembley next month.

Guys, we were awful last season beause of Europa Leauge. And this season because of the cups. But, please, forget that Spurs made it as far as we did last year and are second. Because that doesn't count. Cup runs that haven't won a trophy mean more than league position.

It beggars belief... Just pathetic the excuses for him. He's failed miserably for two seasons and people still want to give him ANY games next season.
