People saying he can't be sacked because we are in the semi final of the cup, well before that small matter of the semi final we have 4 league games to attend to.

What happens if we don't get any results from those 4 games? Doesn't it matter?

Only at a club like Everton would you get such blind loyalty as not to sack him. It took an abysmal 1st half performance against Boro for Smith to be shown the door, seems like it's going to take about another 20 performances before the board see sense and remove him from his duties.

He's so far out of his depth that it simply needs to be sorted asap.

Mac, Billy Bingham was sacked just before we played Bolton in the League Cup semi final.

IMO Mr. Mo needs to act now.....during this enforced hiatus over the Easter period.

I cannot take anymore after sitting through the last two home games.

We are Wigerton.

I think this is our worst season with regards to home form since the 1993/1994 season when we nearly went down.We lost 9 games at Goodison that season. After yesterday it's 8 defeats on our own patch.Considering the players we have now compared to that squad in 93/94 that is a very embarrassing and pathetic statistic.Roberto Martinez seems a bit like a fancier version of Mike Walker.

Tactically we are moribund and devoid of an ability to change the course of games.

Sorry mate but I disagree. If any relieving of duties were to happen, it would have to be off season.
The Manager has earnt the right to Manage the Cup semi, and nothing is to be gained with putting in someone from the backroom staff as caretaker.

There's 4 games before the semi as well K so it could get worse before it gets better. Luckily for him 3 of them are away but I'm with you mate, get rid now because all we are currently doing is delaying the inevitable.

But your basing all this on them performing at the top of their games and judging the Everton players on their current form.

Kante is better than Gibson, the rest of our midfield is far superior, same with Drinkwater and please dont try and tell me that Robert Huth has suddenly become Bobby Moore, hes an utter yarddog who is playing very well in a team that is performing way and above their standard.
Which shows what can be achieved with the right manager.

Don't agree Kithnou, another 4 defeats in the league before the semi and the only thing he's earned the right for is to be booted up the arse out of our club by approx 37k disgruntled fans.

Talk of sacking him while we remain in the cup is very silly IMO, I want the fella gone, but he "deserves" to see out his cup run and if im totally honest and if I was given the choice I would still keep him till the end of the season, regardless, well I say regardless, in 3 games if we have had 3 defeats, I may change my stance.

So ive basically gone from assess at the end of the season to sack at the end of the season.

You have a crystal ball mate? Nobody can foresee 4 straight losses in the next 4 weeks.

Never apologise about politely disagreeing with me, Kith.

We all look at things from different perspectives ;)

You do realise that posters on forums are real people? We're not just faceless robots who only communicate through GOT.
Everybody who sits around me in the match and everybody in the pub after the game wanted him gone.

This isn't just a few people, mate. In fact, look at the poll, over 1,000 people have voted out. That is a pretty damning verdict in itself.
So there's more than a few people want him gone and they're real. Is that a point of debate? And capital letters doesn't actually make a word more relevant.
The issue is that you and your friends wanting something to happen doesn't mean it will. Doesn't even mean it should.
It's an opinion and loads of people have expressed why they think we'd be better off without him really well.
But using phrases like 'damming verdict' is similar to many other opinions that seem convinced if they talk in absolutes then it's going to give their views more credibility. It won't.
Everyone I know has huge doubts about him but they are reluctant to change at the moment. The main talking point at the moment though is can we win a trophy.
I'm the only one who comes on any forums and but I'm not considering it a block vote. Especially as it isn't an election just a very rough sample of opinion.
