But you have to remember that Martinez wanted Demaba Ba but got offered Lukaku instead. I'd say he was very lucky there.

Martinez was backed by the board obviously, if Martinez was tasked with a good cup run and avoid relegation solely, then they would of funded Heskey or Crouch, without Lukaku we would be in it bigtime, and the lad looks p***ed off at the moment up there whilst we pass it sideways getting nowhere.
