He's said that since he walked in the door though. Hes motivating the players and trying to create harmony within the squad...which will be entirely changed other than 3-5 players in the summer from the "phenomenal" squad he inherited...

Just watching perfomances since robles went into goal you can see visually a massive change in defence and confidence throughout the team. However Martinez hasnt brought in defenders yet bar mori and galloway and needs to add in a GK and LW which have already been mentioned.

Until he does this in the summer then may as well wait and see i he wins the cup...
I see how you and Dave ALWAYS ignore Alcaraz. Are you going to tell me that Jags and Distin weren't massive improvements over his wigan defenders? So he brought in a Wigan ballplaying defender- was he better than the originals in the squad?

Really? Care to point out which part of my post you agreed with ?

More avoidance tactics exposed each time you post ....
Didn't the like you got and the words I agree with this at least imply it.
Seriously I've got to go now but I can honestly promise you I'm an easy going person who gets a bee in his bonnet about strange things.
None of it personal and surely it's time to calm down

Star striker whose run to martinez hugging him after chelsea game and who before chelsea game was quoted in the press saying how much he was looking forward to playing for us next season?

That one?

Or a youn lad going through his 1st drop in form in his career who was being raved about till then?

That one?

Yes. Both of them.

And McNulty was the man of course who broke the Moshiri deal. Not the Daily Mail. So he is obviously in the know.

All he his is doing is repeating the obvious...Kenwright is in charge. Maybe in a caretaker fashion, who knows?
When Moshiri takes charge, probably in the summer. He'll have his own views. Who knows?

That's about as insightful as every other contributor who has posted on the machinations inside Goodison on here since the takeover.

But who needs insight? Surely ill informed garbage and personal attacks are just as important?

Read between the lines..

Yep, just you.
Moyes basically did a SAF and left us with a bunch of players who werent good enough and only able to play percentage football. If not for Martinez i dread to think where we would be now in terms of players...

Certainly Barkley and Stones wouldnt have been trusted so much and Lukaku and deulofeu wouldnt have signed.

You messing? Martinez finished 5th with the squad he inherited, a squad who finished 6th before he took over . The more and more it's integrated as his group of players the worse we seem to be doing.

That really hits the nail on the head. How can anyone continue to support Martinez.

Of course not, but look at the evolution of Cruyffs side

http://www.worldfootball.net/teams/fc-barcelona/1990/2/

You've got a solid back four and a World class goalie. And he had Gary Lineker up front in '88. Throw in Stoichkov, Laudrup and Koeman between '88 and '90 and you've introduced the Worlds best players into spine into the team, at that time. Thats a recipe for success.

Yes exactly.

Stones--Barkley--Deulofeu--Lukaku are all potentially world class...now he needs to sort out Yarmolenko (the stoichkov signing as the left sided attacker) and the defence and keeper.

Hes done it the other way round with the funds available.

Particularly after Rom confirming what we already knew - that an exodus is coming due to the underperformance of the fraud in charge - then I definitely feel he should be sacked this summer no matter what.

We have a new chairman, new money... we need to reinforce that with a new manager and show genuine ambition.
