I might judge a once of individual game the way your judging the seasons with excuses. Bit of bad luck, great attacking play at times just unfortunate. Took a few chances, didn't pay off.

We are looking at another bottom half finish. At this stage after a few seasons all I care about at this stage are results. I don't wanna hear the b-lox anymore. I was all ears last season. Not now.

After a stretch of seasons results don't lie, they don't deceive, they don't sugar coat, they can't be manipulated or argued against. Game to game yes it's more complex than that. But come the end of another season home and away the excuses don't matter anymore.

It's not complex unless you try make it so.

To be frank, I'm not arsed about your "Barclay's Premier League" other than winning it some day. And if Everton win that FA Cup, neither will you or anyone else.

Barry + McCarthy = One Barca player. Busquets.

We really need to see how McCarthy + Besic do together...if not a combo then he needs to sign someone for the Busquets role.

Thats the Guardiola way...even at Bayern.

Difference is you need top players to keep the ball and press...and that requires the right players.

Hes improved all the top 7 odd players we have who are able to play this way.

It's simple for me:

he's proven he can put together a very good league campaign; he's demonstrating now that he retains his ability to mount cup campaigns; he's put together the makings of a great squad - and cash now will be well invested.

I'm not particularly arsed what the hoofball nostalgia brigade want to happen. They wont find an echo chamber in the club's boardroom as they do on here. That is the determining factor here.

But the Chelsea game wasn't a Barca performance. We dug deep and got the job done. That's not Barca, we didn't rip them open, we hardly created a chance.
