22 players signed at a cost of over 100m.

3 defensive players signed in that period.

How long do we give him Damo? Shall we miss out on another 50m in prize money until we realise that the man is out of his depth and would be better managing in League One where his lack of tactical nous wont stand out as much.

The man has failed to finish in the top half of this league 6 times out of 7, hes not a Premiership Manager and hes not good enough to manage a club that aspires to finish in the top 4.

In your opinion.

I already stated mine in the previous post that I quoted for you.

I only want to talk about FACTS Damo.

Thats all im here for, to spread the truth.

Told you mate. Have a read of this:

Might make these facts look a bit clearer for you.

I do say that we need to see the back of this tendency to ship soft goals.

That will change my judgement on him. This is what the manager needs to address as a high priority.

If certain players are not onboard they need to be shipped out.

Simple as that.

If I were Martinez I would be looking to address why we are shipping soft goals. Part of this was the combination of John 'take too many risks' Stones and Tim 'inconsistent' Howard.

This can be easily addressed.

The other is to look at what happened against Arsenal.

Mo "giving the ball away" Besic and inviting pressure and you saw McCarthy having a go at him. We need to get a central midfielder who can play through balls and play with the ball.

We also need more pace out wide. Without Mirallas and/or a fit Geri we look weak.

I would also look at the GK position for obvious reasons. We need another top quality keeper.

I will judge this manager at Christmas after the FA Cup and the summer and if he has learnt from this years mistakes. Particularly if we ship stupid goals then things will in my view need to change. Not before.

Martinez is still fairly young managerially speaking. He's not managed at Everton's level before. So I do not expect instant results if things go badly.

This summer he really needs to get into the issues.

And why hasnt the utter fraud addressed these issues already Damo?

Why hasnt he done SOMETHING about us shipping soft goals for 18 months?

Why didnt he do something to stop Wigan shipping soft goals?

Howard is on his way mate. Along with several others.

He cannot sign people outside of a transfer window.

I count 20, but maybe I'm missing someone obvious. In fairness, he's addressed needs first, and the squad he inherited has plenty of defending options, so he's probably going about it the correct way (in terms of squad building). On match management and strategy he's failed entirely, but I don't think his transfers have been poor.

No, ive said countless times, hes built a superb squad.

The squad building isnt the issue here, IMO that squad is good enough to push for a top 4 place, its certainly better than 12th, thats not even a discussion.

Im just saying, people keep making these excuses, "they arent his players", "wait for transfer windows", in his times had plenty of transfer windows. The players within the squad are all International players, who ALL mostly managed to defend under the last Manager we had.

The players arent the issue, the coaching, the tactics and the lack of motivation from a manager out of his depth are the issues.
