Can you answer the question as to why Everton as a club should in this current time use a different criteria to judge Martinez than every other premiership club uses?

Ignore who we are mate - if under the same circumstances Martinez had managed and achieved these results with this group of players at any other team around the level we had been at consistantly for a long time when he took over mate - then he would have either been sacked already or else waiting till the end of the season and he would be let go, it's not really a disputable thing even that

As for Moyes - after he stabilised the club away from the relegatiuon fear years, got 4th and then for two years could not build upon that then it was time to move on, he would only have gotten that long due to the utter mess he took over as well

You're having a laugh. Which club in this league outside the usual financially doped suspects would view the three seasons Martinez has had here in total and come to the conclusion they need to get rid?

Unreal. You should try answering your own question on that.

The excuses you're trotting out here for the dullard Moyes and slack you're cutting him just underlines how cock eyed your non-analysis of Martinez's three seasons has become.

Any Easter eggs left mate? I\d just concentrate on eating them if I were you. All reason has been deserted here.

Who is judging him on not getting top 4? The fact we're rapidly going backwards and about to lose all our best players might be the more likely reason mate, just a thought

That is the new yardstick I've been reliably informed. No I dont understand it either. Apparently he's supposed to do what all other Everton manager in the past 20 years have never been asked to do and on the usual 10 bob.

Well yeah of course, but how likely does that look? Lukaku is already pretty much off, so we're set back even further based on that
First part seems pretty likely. As for Rom, it seemed to be accepted wisdom that we'd struggle to keep him under any circumstance if he was successful. So this could just as easily be seen as a result of how he's improved.
Personally don't think he will go but even if he does it is not an exodus and doesn't reflect badly on the manager any more than Rooney or Lescott going reflected badly on Moyes

I don't think it is the yardstick, I think that's just something you've made up to try and get people off his back. If we were stagnating in 6th/7th I don't think you'd see these sorts of poll results, it's more the fact we're going backwards and risk an even more dramatic slide if we lose Lukaku/Barkley next season

RICHARD Keogh believes the addition of Harry Redknapp to Derby County's backroom staff is a "shrewd move".

Redknapp was brought in by the Rams last week as football advisor for the remainder of the current campaign.

Shortly on the official site

PHIL Jagielka believes the addition of David Moyes to Everton's backroom staff is a "shrewd move".

Moyes was brought in before the FA Cup Semi Final as football advisor and Tactics Man for the remainder of the current campaign.

Ronaldo left Utd.
Suarez left the Sh1te.
Torres left the Sh1te.
Lewandowski left Dortmund?
Zlatan leaves everywhere.

Top players leave every club.....probably with Barca being an exception. It's why they have very rich agents and little to no loyalty. The sooner some people realise footballers are transient and have no real bond with their employers the better.

Lukaku will leave Everton. It doesn't make financial sense for him and his agent not to move every 2-3 years. Ditto every top player.

Which part of that is difficult to understand, and which part of it does Martinez or any other manager for that matter have any control over?

They left because their clubs never got 5th in their leagues mate.

Lol.

Does that mean then that you don't think this poll result is reflective of the feelings of Evertonians outside of this forum?

Id say a forum is more vocal and likely to think that way and will be more polar in their view than a large majority of the regular match goers. Of course lots of us on here are both, but there is a huge amount of match goers who aren't represented on the web forums.

Yeah, remind me how well that turned out for those clubs?
