What if you debated the content to death already...then it's all about the person, isn't it?
Well you can surely debate the content back to life, it's a thread about the manager not what you think of Dave and his espousal of pro Martinez opinions.

Martinez does not possess all the necessary skills to create a top 4 challenging team.

Specifically, he lacks the ability to instil belief in his players, he lacks tactical awareness and the ability to change the course of a game through change of tactics or personnel and thirdly he lacks the ability to organise a team defensively, and improve individual defenders.

'm just gauging the way the dissenters free two week run at disseminating their propaganda has gone. It's been a hopeless creation of an echo chamber for the already converted and had zero effect on anything substantial.

In short: a storm in a tea cup that's blown itself out.

Just for the avoidance of doubt, the storm has not blown its course, the criticisms of Martinez remain valid and unanswered.

I'd just rather not have to repeat myself ad nauseum for the last 5 days.

I had a thought whilst watching the match lastnight...

what do you think the chances are of GARY NEVILLE getting a chance at managing us?? obv links to the club with Phil and in the north west. stranger things have happened!

another name I thought of was JURGEN KLINNSMAN.

both could offer us something different. whether they would be an improvement is debeatable. I defo think klinnsman is a step up from Martinez, but Neville would be a gamble.

Yeah, ok mate. Martinez has done nothing in the game...no club building, no cup wins. Nothing. Let's all just put them aside and get the lynch mob going.

No wonder the club takes no notice. Whatsoever.

You're fuming on here and Kenwright is back home in Shaftesbury Avenue having video conferences with Roberto about spending £150M in the summer.

Cool as a cucumber here my friend, more important things to worry about than whether a millionaire gets the boot from our football club, I suggest you follow suit!

You come across a bit nuts, as once again you have taken what I have written, ignored it completely as you do whenever anybody writes something which destroys one of your posts.

The 2 things of any note that he has achieved in his managerial career which count for anything at all are
1. Winning the cup with Wigan and also,
2. Getting Wigan relegated.

Nothing else is even worth counting, not even the 72 points you seem to fap off over daily for some bizarre reason.

Rant, rant, rant, rant and rant....Lose the semi and a few more league games and the guy won't be here in the summer if Moshri has anything about him. How many wins in how many games is it again? Not even up to Tony Pulis standards dear friend.

:coffee:

So Dave perchance things do not work out and RM leaves, are you going to follow him to his new club thus showing loyalty to RM?

Of course he is....

'...ain't no mountain high enough' etc

Why the hell is he still manager? Hate Everton sometimes just drag things on! Either say he's not getting sacked so we can moan more on here, or sack him so we can party.
to be fair he still has chance to turn this season into a decent looking one. Win the FA cup and finish 5th, still very much possible.

Won't happen and he should be sacked at the end of it, but still at all possible. I mean would you take 7th and the fa cup at the start of the season? I know i would have, but clearly we aren't finishing there or anywhere near it so it is just a case of waiting for the seasons end to say our farewell

Id say a forum is more vocal and likely to think that way and will be more polar in their view than a large majority of the regular match goers. Of course lots of us on here are both, but there is a huge amount of match goers who aren't represented on the web forums.
There's also a tendency for people to see a particular view dominating and adapt as a means of avoiding ridicule. Or just not post.
I think a lot of people out there have fairly strong feelings about Martinez but I'm not aware of every conversation about players and matches somehow coming back to how Martinez is responsible.

Neville is having eulogy's burnt of him at Valencia.

Klinnsman ran off to the US years ago and doesn't wanna return to club football.

Mate, if we won the FA Cup and finish 11th, it'd be a decent season.

The point is is that this squad/manager should not having to be relying on winning a cup to make it a good season.

Tbh mate if we win the cup it extends him as Everton manager. Now I want to win the Cup but I don't want him as manager and we aren't gettin 5th talk about can't have your cake and eat it!
