Fair enough. I'm not sure that Martinez ordered them to do that though or that fans felt that was a mistake. I've been watching since though and not seen time added on to that extent in any games for celebrations. And also we didn't actually make a mistake against Chelsea. We played offside and somehow they didn't spot it.

Yep. And we've been lucky in the cup. Luck plays a part. But it doesn't even out. And it hasn't in my analysis of the season. Maybe this should be built in. But if we're condemning him on places based on a handful of points then it's a factor and to say it isn't is simply not true.

Here is the thing though, we are 8 points off 8th place. We are 2 off 15th, hell depending on results we could swing to being closer to 16th than 8th come monday morning. This isnt condeming him with things that havent happened, it is the fact that in this very position, in April now, were we can look at potentially dropping down further than last year, it isn't hard to make assumptions on how the season will go.
the fact is in 29 games, we have only won a third of the games played rough maths there, not even a third exactly but not far off. anyway, it isnt hard to guess we would then only win another 3 games all season, perhaps draw a few in the process, lose a few also. For the leagure to look anywhere near acceptable we nee dto be pulling in 7 wins out of the 9 remaining, minimum, do you think we are going to do that? I mean i said win 9 games back in february, and we have won none since i said that, so not a knee jerk to not have faith.
But yeah, 2 off 15th, 8 off 8th, we certainly arent 8-12th.

Chelsea, one game. How many other so called decisions have derailed our season?? Did these bad decisions have such am impact on us that the performance of the players have resulted in us winning only 4 league games at home and conceding a ridiculous amount of goals.

Game in hand at least on most around us. And great goal difference. But you're right we could lose every game and then I'd imagine he'd look very bad. Feel free to say told you so at that point, but I'd kind of hope neither of us want that happening
Two goals up away to Chelsea. That sounds fantastic. Some team. But they'd better make sure they know where every deflected shot will go and they'd better make sure the referee and linesman know the rules.

Thing is mate we did have bad luck with the deflected goal, but how about after conceding that we don't concede another within 2 minutes - the second goal is the one that had people rightly annoyed as hell
same way the second goal against west ham did etc, the first you can say yeah - thats football - but then to concede again so quickly afterwards is the sign that the team just isn't prepared right at all
