Lets just admit he isnt doing a good job and need shipping out sharpish.
Home form
position in the league
number of inept performances
the likes of Stones and Del steadily losing confidence and not processing.
crowd not buying into the style of play, and find it hard to get behind.
signs that are better players want out Rom, Stones.
Time to go if we want the club go forward , beating the likes of Dagenham and Barnsley in the cups dosnt make him anywhere good enough for Everton FC

I dont. But I know the way Everton have hitherto operated and I know the relationship BK has with his managers, and midtable plus two very healthy cup runs does not get an Everton manager the sack.

You know that yourself. You just believe that because Moshiri has bought shares in the club that pattern will be erased overnight. And that's a massive stretch.

Basically all you have going for you on this is to combine with other discontented souls and scream into an echo chamber.

He's being judged based on where we were when he took over, compared to where we are now. Why would he be judged based on where previous Everton managers finished in the 90's?

...this echo chamber trope you keep referencing; are you sure it's not you, screaming in your own personal one?

Now now. Dave is Crazy Cat Lady obsessed and his views should be smothered with butter fresh out the pot.

Martinez has all the dimensions of a Thunderbird and the script comes out the mouth like it was written by an optimistic nincompoop.

January to march mate. I dropped the common sense when chico started getting too excited because we beat newcastle (bottom 3) and QPR (relegated) and vaulted people for questioning why we were bottom half and struggling to win games..........

To be fair i gave it beyond christmas, i gave it 12 months and same old story.

(oh and 2 points off 15th isnt 'spinning anything, it is terrible form for a club with a 26 goals striker in it)
I was more suggesting you need to give me a more overall view of how you do on football predictions before I'll recognise that I should have listened to you.
Saying we are 12th to 15th is spin. Everything else is debatable

Tighten up? Do you think Martinez is man the man to get the players to Tighten up and see out games?

I don't, why would he suddenly change a habit of a lifetime? He is making the same mistakes as 12 months ago and all the same mistakes he made all the Wigan the only factor being he has better players at his disposal here so every so often all result might fall our way.
So are you agreeing we need to tighten up or not?

I think there is an incontrovertible truth that both pro and anti-Martinez camps can agree upon: our League campaign has been underwhelming.
Further, I think the whys and wherefores of such require scrutiny.
The blue-tinted glasses we all possess have absolved some of the playing squad from fault in our scratchy performance. R Martinez cannot hold their hands out there on the pitch. I suggest players like Coleman and Baines are playing pretty bang average. I suggest Jagielka is no captain. I suggest Cleverley and McCarthy are under-equipped to utilise the space created by Barkley (who's boss) being so closely marked.
Our team isn't really as good as we think it is.
But R Martinez keeps publicly proclaiming them are all phenomenal, world class.

Guess what Roberto?...they aren't...and his set up/tactics exposes this reality on an all too frequent basis.
In many ways, his hyperbole is the architect of his own possible downfall...
...because I think he genuinely believes it.

Hubris/nemesis.

Dave, I'm bored going round in circles with you now, it is tedious.

As The Esk said before, the questions about Martinez' tenure are still very much relevant.

If you choose to live in a world where a manager isn't questioned after taking a solid Top 6 team into the bottom half in what looks to be consecutive seasons, and one of the worst home records in the club's history then you will never question him.

You're not winning or silencing us 'discontented souls', we're just bored of the circus now.

Well to be fair i predicted the results would be largely the same 12 months afterwards including rough league position, so not too sure how more accurate you want me to be?!

I said we'd beat Chelsea. So when I say we're winning the cup there is no questioning me.

*stands rapidly; Speculation M'Lud - My learned friend makes it up as he goes along M'Lud.
M'Lud; SUSTAINED...please carry on in a more factual manner Mr davek.

and we drew away at City due to a terrible decision in our favour mate, decisions happen to every single team - the better teams find a way of overcoming them not letting them quickly become an excuse week in week out for a failiure to see games out

I've said this before but there's a big difference between a pen and what happened to us at Stamford Bridge - and conversely at the Etihad in the cup.

Penalties aren't guaranteed goals.

Agree with this. It's a very good squad but lacks balance and leadership from the experienced players.
Whoever is here for next couple of seasons needs to get the balance right between protecting players and kicking their backsides.
