Everton luck that.
Does any fan outside their own league care about the domestic cups? I mean tbf the FA has more prestige, but I wouldn't know about the winners in France/Germany ect. I do follow the Copa Del Rey as it's always on Sky and is often an el clasico.
This should end the whole circus now.1st March 2015

This should end the whole circus now.
The argument is never consistent.
Someone tell me he said in in his press conference and it isn't an April Fool's joke please?
Up for a man hug mate?
Up for a man hug mate?
TBF Martinez said the right things in his presser today. I know he mentioned we should be aiming for CL/Titles, but if he pooh-poohed it, he'd get worse grief. Mentioned that Rom is becoming the player he'd heavily invested in, which is right too., and that agents/players and family members spouting during the international break was an annoyance. He looked tired, angry, a bit of fight in him. Good, he'll need it. But he's got to be THE boss, a respected boss, not their hairy handed uncle, with a gentle paw on the shoulder.
I thought we'd been through this the other day?1st March 2015

What he says in Pressers is one thing but its all the crap that comes out in his post match interviews...especially after the obligatory collapse at home which is bugging most people mate. Along with the tactics and substitutions and blaming everyone else.
With regards to players who want to leave in with regards to Rom....I haven't heard him say he wants to leave just that he wants to play Champions league football and I got no problem with that...but its his agent that talking most of the utter breeze out there. Just how much is available in the transfer window is any bodies guess but after what Martinez ( Everton can compete with anyone financially ) I just wish it wasn't him spending the cash.
Hand on heart does anybody expect a good league campaign next season ???
I certainly don't with Roberto in charge
I thought we'd been through this the other day?
How on earth does what I said last season contradict what I posted today?
*sigh*
Villa's position as a club not spending and with zero ambition last season has nothing whatsoever in common with a club like Everton now: midtable, very good players, cash to spend, ambition. You said 15th is the same as 5th though so it doesn't matter does it? Bottom half is bottom half
I'm not bothered about convincing a lynch mob, but consistency does matter. And my consistency on Martinez is unimpeachable...and still is, despite toe curling attempts to trip me up on it.And nobody was convinced by your backtracking attempt
*sigh*
I think you'll find, all kidding aside mate, we Evertonians are in for a beautiful ride'We can now compete financially with ANYONE in the world'
Hahaha, can't wait to see what plans he has...
RM; JULY 2016:
'I can confirm that talks are ongoing between ourselves and SHANE LONG's representatives but we are hopeful of a positive conclusion...I feel he's a phenomenal footballer who's more than able to replicate the form of the outgoing ROMELU and - with work - he'll form a fine working relationship with both AROUNA & OUMAR NIASSE...'
Pffff...
Nah, suppose it's a positive though innit...
#HoldThatHug
EDIT: The money that is, being the positive, not signing SHANE LONG
