Ha Ha Ha Ha.

You do realise you have absolutely no power at all dont you?

kinell, the echo chamber inhabitants actually think they makes decisions.

But wait, I thought that I'd been organising a secret coup to have him overthrown?? Jesus fave make your mind up.

And have faith, the Mush has the same mindset as the majority here, he's going to can this underperforming beaut

The line: "yeah, we might well win the cup and it'll be a nice way for Martinez to sign off. But it changes nothing" I can smell the fear off it from people desperate to close down any possible avenue for Martinez to remain as manager.

Here's the thing though: 'Everton sack manager after he wins club's first trophy for 21 years'...not happening really is it?

And if it did (which it wont) imagine the rod Moshiri would be creating for his own back if he toppled Martinez then saddled us with some divvy who spends his cash and balls's it up...he'd be on the run right from the off as new man in charge.

YOU have the power to sack Everton managers. I hope someone's on the phone to Roberto warning him that nsno-chris from GOT has just dismissed him. It could prove embarrassing if he turns up at OT without hearing the bombshell news.

Dave I can't speak for anybody else, but nothing would give me more pleasure than him turning it around. I don't want a mangerial roundabout like some clubs. If He turns it around it means Everton are doing well and a most fans will happily get behind him.

In short, I don't purposely want him to fail, he just is.

That's not what I said, that's what you've been implying for the last 18 months because that utter clown as destroyed this club and I've been highlighting it.

You're just upset David, throwing more toys out the pram because you're man is sinking like the titanic and everyone knows it.

4 home wins David, on course for our worst ever home record, the mush knows this and he'll be taking action soon enough

4 home wins. Cheers bobby, it's ok dave has your back

Oh that's ok then! Win well against the bottom three, but draw or lose narrowly against the other fifteen or sixteen teams and it's all good???
Goal difference is a very accurate indication of where a team will eventually finish. The few times it hasn't been the team have reverted to type the following season.
And as we haven't lost narrowly to sixteen teams but probably drawn a handful while being the better team then I don't see a point in answering your question. If you don't think it's positive to read a relatively accurate indicator that our league position will improve then I'm not sure why you want to debate with someone who does.

Just playing Devils advocate but the same can be said in reverse, you like to state things as fact too dave whilst none of us hold any sway, we just go round in circles but ultimately we don't know what is being said at board level. The best we can do is vent our frustrations/support on here.
I dont claim to have any.

The "We should be challenging for a CL place" argument is a bit of a distraction.

Arguably Spurs have a better squad than us.
City and Arsenal certainly do.
Leicester are flying, but if we think we could be doing the same, then so do probably about half the teams in the league

Our squad is on a par with West Ham, ManU and Southampton's. Because of City's recent form and Chelsea's implosion, West Ham and ManU are in with a shout of fourth place and there's no reason why we shouldn't be sitting in a similar position to West Ham, ManU and Soton. But, even if we were, only one of five teams would get that fourth place and the rest woul be scrapping for one or two Europa League places.

It's the fact that Martinez, for two seasons, hasn't got us anywhere near challenging for a Europa League spot from our league position which means we're underachieving and suggests he's not the man for the job.
