yes, nothing but the best.. i don't think scoring from set pieces and corners would determine that, i think it means attractive football

I like watching Everton when we win, when we dont win, I dont care that the entire team did keep up on the halfway line and performed seal kicks for 90minutes.
Theres no such thing as an entertaining defeat.
that is your OPINION! not FACT! think you need to do abit of basic research on what a fact and an opinion is mate..
thats my OPINION!
As you say though, the football hasn't exactly been transformed. I thought some of the football we played last year was actually better on occasions and now that we have a decent striker, we arent utilising him properly. Is Europe the 1 in 4 you are refering to?Oh, yeah no doubt.
I want nice football and derby wins and trophy wins and Europe.
But 1 out of 4 is still more than I've got in the last 4 years. Step in the right direction. I'm willing to wait another few seasons for the other 3,

A bullet header from a corner is just as 'attractive' to me, as a passing move that ends in a goal.yes, nothing but the best.. i don't think scoring from set pieces and corners would determine that, i think it means attractive football
I'm talking about after each game when they pop up, I'm going off memory and i'm always suprised by how many chances we've created in a particular game where i think that nothing much had happened.. smart assSeeing as you have obviously seen the seasons figures, then post them mate.

Denying the importance of set pieces and just how gash we've been from them this season is delusional
did they? don't think they did... stats are facts...
If this is one of those dreaded "transitional periods" and this is just a checkpoint for further progress, i'm all for it, obviously. It could equally be that we've merely changed style with no change of fortunes, apart from maybe being lucky enough to not just miss out on Europe like we have the last few years.Nah, I mean pre jelavic we were playing terrible rout one football, not in Europe not winning derbies and not winning trophies.
Last 2 years since we bought jelavic and Gibson, we've been playing very good football while still not being in Europe, not winning derbies and not winning trophies.
That's progress man.
Next year we might well be in Europe, playing good football and not winning derbies or trophies.
And the year after that we might finally have all boxes ticked. I think we're going in the right direction and I'm pleased we've finally got that one box ticked. But that doesn't mean I will accept anything less than all 4 boxes ticked, you know?

Nice debating style you've got there mate, I'll leave you to it.Seems you've got answers for everything being Mr. Negative.. So i've stated my points, if you wish to continue going round in a circle, feel free.. my time is more important than your 'delusional mindset'
And if you believe that then you are even more gullible than you appear.
Mirallas was credited with an "assist" on Saturday.
That is a "stat" but only on Bizarro World would it be a "fact".
There are more plan B's than just hoofball though.
How about instead of 2 DM's when losing, perhaps go for just one, how about pushing the DM's to CM and keeping back one of Baines/Coleman, swap a DM for an AM so we have 2 behind the striker, perhaps start Baines and/or Coleman further forwards/backwards depending on whats needed, get them passing triangles or squares instead of 1-2's, or if they are playing 1-2's how about triangles or squares? and so on, and so on.
Plan B doesnt have to just be hoof, it can be far more subtle and make just as much difference.
Also swapping like for like isn't plan B, its plan A still. A lot of teams add more atacking options to their team when required at the expense of defensive ones. Its not a new concept the GOT forum dreamt up, its a real thing.
We all like our new shiney Plan A when its working, its ace, some however would like to see something a little different than keeping on doing the same thing when its not working... a Plan B if you like.
Instead we do the same, over and over with inevitable results. (This of course only applies to when its clearly no working, like Arsenal, Liverpoo etc). When it is working and we are the better team, Chelsea, Spurs etc, keep going, but don't be afraid to change what we're doing a little when required.
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
