If we weren't beating Sunderland and Aston Villa at home then serious questions would have needed to be asked.
It ain't just the beating of them......it is the way we put them to the sword.

With our injury list as well, especially to the backline.I think if someone had offered us to be 8 points behind top, within 6 of 2nd and 3rd after the start given to us. And the John Stones saga we would all have taken it.
Keep all our best players. I truly believe from the beginning of this season we are 3 quality players away for challenging for top 4. Our young guns are amazing. They just need 3 more top quality players in that squad and we are onto something here.Keeping all our players ( we would need to for this ) aswell mate
@davek has placed a massive mirror in front of all the plotters and in so doing, has silenced the treasonous yobs...through a glass darkly, they have all been shown their own personal fulcrum of self awareness.@davek has analized the plotters this season.
They stepped up and he's obliterated them.
Serious game.
Let's be honest lads, we've all had a few beers and we're all thinking there's a hidden message here.@davek has analized the plotters this season.

you and I are in a minority but I fully endorse your sentiments. Poor team selection today and an insipid performance that suggests he's lost the dressing room. Big Sam is not a bad call.RM is rubbish, any decent manager would have had his team win by 8 clear goals today, he's crap, sack him and get big sam in.

Cannot fault a single thing you've said here mate.I would like Big Sam as assistant manager and Phil Brown as manager. It would make a refreshing change for an assistant manager to be given the managers job before the so called proper manager and when the assistant manager is sacked as manager, at least a decent manager would then take over the reigns instead of the assistant manager who is genuinely a good assistant manager but not manager material.
I know Phil Brown is actually a manager now but I'm sure he and Big Sam would agree that when Big Sam was manager it worked well having Phil Brown as assistant manager
In fact, Big Sam actually asked Phil Brown to quit his managers job and become his assistant manager at Sunderland but with Phil Brown being a manager already he felt it would be a step down even though it would have been a step up because it would be him assisting the manager in the premier league instead of managing a club in League 2.
