How can he be to blame for Howard messing up for the first 2 goals? If that hadn't happened we'd probably have won.

To blame in the sense he should have gone and got a boss CB this summer and had proper cover for RB.

He ballsed up the whole of summer IMO....preseason schedule included.

It's not been good. Our annual defeat at Anfield beckons and that leave us well off the pace.

We'll stop finish top 7 but it's games like today's which stop us from really kicking on.

That's it in a nutshell. Howard to blame today, Distin against Leicester and Arsenal, Jags against Chelsea. We are literally gifting goals and it's all down to stupid lapses in concentration which Martinez simply can't legislate for. Howard today, well the 2nd was absolutely criminal for a goalkeeper and he deserves to be dropped for that alone let alone his rush of blood to the head for the 1st one.
