Roberto Martinez discussion

It depends what you're after, if you're happy with the short term fix then it's win at all cost.

I wasn't happy when we were winning 1 nil today, I was much happier with us against crystal palace for example even though we drew.

Obviously if you're desperate to be 9th and not 11th then you clearly want the 3 points but I'm trying to look at the bigger picture.

Obviously it's win at all cost in the semi final.
Its a win you go for every time you cross that white line.
The whole point of playing the game is to try and win a trophy.

Ha, they dominate 70 minutes on our own ground but because we put on a bit of a good finish we had them 'figured out'. Another Martinez master stroke.
I think you swallowed the southern media's Kool Aid there.

FFS give your own team a bit of credit for once. I dont think I'm the only one who's noticed you have nothing good to say about our play or players. Get behind the team.

You are the one who said you would prefer a draw to a win.
I am a fan of everton and want us to win,you are a fan of martinez and don't care what the result is.
You said yourself yesterday i am only reminding you of what garbage comes out of your mouth

Madness if this is true.

He made early subs because it was the first game in a while that we were truly dominated by the opposition. Every other game where we've thrown it away, it didn't look like we needed a change until too late.

We needed Besic on vs Stoke once we went 3-2 up, that much was obvious.

They dominated us for 45 minutes mate. 2nd half was a totally different story

They did so as they're a bloody good side. I was very impressed with them, he's got them very well organised and they work damn hard.

Too us 45 minutes and two subs to realise that Spurs are a team that like to press high up and don't react too well to being pressed themselves... Hmmm hardly going to credit this as a tactical master-stroke from the manager.
