Roberto Martinez discussion

We've been dominating teams all year but cause they've put on a good finish and we've ended up drawing Martinez is getting slated so what is it??

Has Martinez done well today and Pottecino had a nightmare, cause that's what I've been getting told has been happening here when we dominate teams but don't win.

Some agenda driven posters seem to want to have there cake and eat it, with one rule for one and one for another.

I am all for the boss, but I got to say we dominate teams but look very shaky at the back which has dropped us points. So, not so much like Spurs today.

Sky Sports going OTT on Spurs. Very decent team but we figured them out and could have put them away second half no bother.

Roberto putting that chubby little bellend in his place there.
We had 3 shots on target against the best defence in the league. They had 5 on target in a match they dominated for the most part against one of the worst defences in the league.
There's not as much difference between the 2 teams as the points and positions suggest.

If we swapped goalies, it would be a very different story.

Comedy gold. Spurs and Everton in my book have two evenly matched teams so playing at Goodison you'd expect us to have some moments of class. Frankly I expect us to play v Spurs how they dominated v us. Pochettino's got a decent draw there. If we played like that v Spurs at WHL you'd hear no complaint from me. Norwich, Stoke, Palace, West Ham, etc. Do not have the same quality as us. So if we mess up once that's forgivable but doing it every single week is a worrying trend.

Spurs don't do this which is why they're in the top 4 and we're not in the top ten.

Moyes had us averaging 6th/7th in the league building his own team after the mess he was left.
Last season and this we are averaging 11th under martinez with a brilliant squad
Your point makes no sense

Have you not noticed Martinez is doing a complete rebuild, changing everything from our style to the quality of player were watching and moving on a lot of the ageing players in the process whilst providing us with some if the best youngsters in the world to watch.

I don't think you have to be honest.

4th and 11th, that's 7 places, how many do you want before there's a noticeable difference?

Undoubtedly. Even in that game Lloris would have been flying out to Alli's feet after he'd slipped Coleman...no chance of ever seeing TH doing that.

In a funny way I was proud of the performance today.
The defence was resolute and and barring the two shots that hit the woodwork and the goal, we closed down and threw bodies at shots.
i thought we set up like the away team today and our goal was proof of that, and second half with the changes we could of gone on to win it.
Kone was poor and needs to be dropped, I thought Cleverley had a great little game and some of his longer balls are superb. Also Besic was excellent when he came on, his workrate and aggression was what we needed at that point in the game
Spurs are a very good side and we more than matched them
As for their goal, great ball great finish....give credit

The manager takes more cred than he started with today! Some of the players do not.

Ross needs to do a LOT more without the ball and Martinez shouldn't be afraid to let him know.

Moyes' consistent best-of-the-rest record seems like a better achievement than we might have appreciated, especially as it came in a time when the Sky clubs were stronger than they are now,
