That result and that performance is not why we're 11th. Great game against a team in terrific form. I take a lot of positives from second half. Besic made a huge difference. If we get Jags back and Besic gets a run of games, we might get some of that defensive stability we have been missing. What I'd give for a convincing 1-0 win (which was not the case against Newcastle).

We look so unbalanced down our left hand side. I don't get why like I mentioned in the other thread he doesn't go 4-3-3 with Barkley replacing Kone and Besic coming in to sit in alongside Mccarthy and Barry. It's clear we need more protection at the back and Kone offers zero going forward or backwards right now.

You should get it.

You just have to think a little. Search in your brain. Its all in there. All those memories of Ross playing the left side attacker role.

Got them??

there you go.

You tell them Boris lid.

They're seething that Everton didn't get beat. Incredible.

I think they are annoyed Everton didn't win. By the time we play Swansea it will be two months since we beat a bloody awful Aston Villa.

Home wins against Sunderland, Villa, awful Chelsea by January. That is why the locals are restless.

Its going to take a damn site more than a good 30 mins against Spurs for people to be satisfied.

Sunderland, Villa and Chelsea ffs. Just repeat that to yourself.

Kone doesn't play truly on the left though, so your argument is moot from the beginning. Theirs a reason why Baines has acres of empty grass in front of him and little cover.

I repeated it to myself. What happens now? Does Tony Pulis turn up and lead us to glory?
