What so we drew 1-1 and draw draw. My god I'll have to dig that slip out the bin, I read the first post and thought we got battered. Shall I get my ticket out of the bin for Wednesday or don't we have a hope in hells chance?

By the way you still refuse to tell me how we have only managed to concede 9 away from home.
You don't make much sense.
The only thing i get from your posts is that you like to put tickets in bins.
You may need help dude

In all honesty I wouldn't sack him yet. The club are clearly the subject of a takeover bid, so now is not the time to be making such massive decisions, better candidates will be available in the summer, I don't see a replacement saving our season (look across the park at Klopp).

But it does at least explain why the locals are restless and deservedly so. Last year, the consensus was, Martinez deserves a season to turn it around, in part because of his fantastic first season. I'm fine with that, and i'm prepared to back him until the end of the season but without a stark upturn in form that is the length to which I am prepared to back him.
January could be a brutal month for him mate. There's a naive team out there that could do either way.

Suppose we will see.

I'll ask you again - What's your point?

I'll say it again - 20 AT HOME; with half our homes games to come.

Shipping 9 away from home has got us where, exactly?

11th place? So?

9 AWAY FROM HOME. The best of any manager in the history of our great club. Yes, 9 AWAY FROM HOME. Shall I throw my ticket for Wednesday in the bin? A simple question. I need your guidance.

Your at it again with bins and tickets.
Maybe this is not your thing

Why have we only conceded 9 away from home? I hope that makes sense. 9 away from home. I await your answer dude. By the way did we get battered today, dude?

The best a manager has done has been to win us a league title, an ECWC and a charity shield, as well as get us to an FAC final in the same season. THAT'S an achievement.

I think it's quite obvious his point.

That Roberto can set the team up to defend away from home so it's not a fore gone conclusion that he won't be able to do so at home aswel.

I think we seen today aspects of that, the full backs defiantly stayed back a lot more than they usually do.

Theirs an incredibly boss team waiting to break out from under the surface here and that's still sustains my faith in the manager as without him we wouldn't have developed this team.

But for that team to break out its fairly evident the manager is going to have to sacrifice some sacred cows and sharpen his tactics.

It's a catch 22 situation Martinez has developed a potentially excellent team but his shortcomings might prevent that team from reaching the heights it is capable of reaching.

Barry might actually get a break on Wednesday. Or at least some shortened game time. As effective as he continues to be, our rotation over the holidays has neglected him.

If Roberto truly feels Barry is in his best 11 (my personal thoughts on that aside), what message does that send if he rests him for the City game?

The first, Howard had covered, in that he would have saved it if it was going in

Are you sh1ttin' me? Seriously? It comes off the inside of the post, and fortunately rebounds out. Howard had that covered according to you - so why's it hit the post if he's let it past him?

The answer is he didn't have it covered at all. If he did - as you suggest - then he doesn't know his angles.

As for the second, it doesn't matter if it was a deflection or not - the woodwork saved us AGAIN. Indisputable.
