Roberto Martinez discussion

i was one of Martinez's biggest fans and supported him coming here but he needs to show more courage in selecting his starting line-up and making subs if Everton has Europe in its sights
He still has not discovered our best balanced starting line-up - and our defense is suspect
we play beautiful possession football but are amongst the leaders in the PL as far as draws are concerned because we don't use opportunities
He prefers to err on the conservative side because he knows most Everton fans are more than comfortable in a safe mid table position
If that is his aim he should say so because he is certainly making a good job of making our position very very safe

Lets hope Mirallas is not thrown to the lions by Martinez by starting him against a very strong Man City tomorrow night
He will probably be rusty after very little game time this season and Martinez can then sub him and cover up his own mistake and use it as an excuse for not selecting him earlier

Do you want Mirallas to play or not? Why on earth would Martinez throw him to the lions?

How strong do you expect the City side to be? Don't hold your breath - the match is on Wednesday!

How did moyes nearly kill stones's career?
Read it properly and you might notice you are wide of the mark again. I said more credit to Martinez than Moyes for Stones as Martinez is the one who introduced him to the first team. As with Barkley it was a 'don't be afraid of making mistakes'. It is speculation but would Moyes have accepted mistakes from John Stones? Would John Stones career advanced at the rate it is now? I doubt it yet we could possibly get 40-50m for him because Martinez let him play without fear.

right so lets not give him a chance because he was going to get a chance months ago but got a sending off before it, chance gone then kev your only allowed one chance apparantly

Mirallas' behaviour didn't help his own cause, did it? He's competing for a place with Kone, Deulofeu and Lennon, and perhaps Cleverley too.

He's got to wait for the next opportunity. He can't expect to just walk into the team after his suspension at somebody else's expense.

How can you say if stones played under moyes he wouldn't have advanced as quickly.
Stupid comment as usual.

Don't you read anything thicko. Do you know what 'speculation' means. Try and google it before commenting back and making yourself look idiotic as usual.

Read...soak it in...think...then reply

Because of the character Moyes is.

He didn't rate Dier or Mustafi - ones a world cup winner, the other an important player in a good Spurs side.

He also, when he gave Duffy a run out, told him to basically play it simple - which in turn when he played meant he hoofed it anytime he got the ball.
