I would say more than half the fan base have concern's that he is taking us backwards, which with this squad is criminal. But i wouldn't say they all want him gone, more like they want him to sort it out, but there doesn't seem to be any sign of this. Who starts in goal at Man City next week will be a clear sign if we have the right man for the job or not.
Personaly i like him as a person but if he was sacked in the morning I wouldn't think it was a bad thing, as i really can't see us getting back to the top 6 with him in charge.
But the main reason the squad is so good is down to Martinez, both his recruiting of players and allowing the youngsters playing time in which to develop.
Another manager may be able to organise them better defensively, but at what expense in other areas?
Playing football that I enjoy watching with players that I like and can see developing is personally as much a priority, if not more so, than position in the table although realise that isn't going to be everyone's choice.
Correct.
I'll take it one step further. We are playing the best football seen at Everton for nearly 3 decades apart from some issues at back. Which team do we fear?
We are, hopefully(!), about to be taken over by owners with money to spend on quality additions to the squad.
Frustration aside, why on earth would you be contemplating getting rid of the Manager at this point as we sit here at the beginning of January?
Give him time. We will find out if he makes it or not.
Nah here it is. It's brilliant writing.

Was crying at that. I've read lots of his other stuff but keep forgetting to visit the site often.lol
Klopp's infamous Gangampress, whereby the players all hunt the ball down while riding on imaginary ponies.
Enjoyed Kevon De Bruyne as a minor royal as well, thanks for the link will try and check out some more of the writing. Was crying at that. I've read lots of his other stuff but keep forgetting to visit the site often.
He's he best Everton lid writing stuff out there for me. He's nailed he analysis culture dead on there too.

I would disagree that half the fans want him gone. They did want to see a change in his game management and tactics which had lead to some poor results. He seems to have taken their concerns onboard and is now addressing them as is reflected in our last 2 performances. So how do you judge his tenure so far? everyone has differing ideals.
Just going to put this out there but the fact that nearly half the fanbase wants him gone surely must say something?
I'm actually buying in to his long term plan which is a big turnaround for me, fookin exciting times though
I will say this: Stones seems to play a lot less waywardly when he's about. I dont think that's a matter of his intervention though, it just appears that he (Stones) becomes more conservative in his presence.
Maybe they have ESP.
