Moyes was boss right up to a limit and then came out with stuff which was just like getting a kick in the balls as an Evertonian. Basically don't expect anything and be grateful that we exist.
Martinez is the absolute polar opposite and I'm somewhere in the middle of the two I reckon. I think sometimes things Martinez says are great it's just there's a time and a place and it ain't the time and place when results aren't what they should be.
Onwards and upwards though, we are on a 1 game winning streak and I'm hopeful of us getting a safe passage through tomorrow. Wins breed confidence, regardless of the opposition and a win tomorrow will set us up nicely for Wednesday.
The cup games couldn't have come at a better time for us tbh to take away the focus from the poor league results

One thing we have missed is the interplay on the left between Baines and Pienaar. And we haven't replaced the influence of Osman.
The attacking play has been wonderful, even if the results have been disappointing. But it won't take very much to improve the results.

In terms of the league, in my opinion we haven't got anywhere near the results (In terms of wins) I would have hoped this squad would have gotten. I would go as far to say that we have been (in terms of results) somewhere between poor and really poor and yet we are only 9 points off of the top 4 places (No proper fan is arsed about the games not lost, surely we are all about wanting to win?).....Is that a good thing or a bad thing? by that I Mean....It could be classed as good, as you could argue we are still within a shout....You could also argue that given how the league has panned out, that this could go down as a MASSIVE chance missed.... Thats where the frustration appears.....that's where the continuity of our extremely promising squad comes into question.....It has been my fear all along that Martinez simply cannot manage a team to be consistently good....and thus far I have been proved to be correct, No doubt about that.
