Chelsea 3-3 Everton

Posted at17:40
Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has suggested he may have spoken to the referee, Mike Jones, and told him to play additional stoppage time after Everton went 3-2 up in the 90th minute.

Hiddink told Match of the Day: "There was seven minutes extra time... I said, 'Ref, okay, they are celebrating at least one minute in the corner.'"

He added: "I will not deny it - it was offside because Oscar touched the ball, even though John was technically perfect [with his finish]."

"I took some risks [at 2-0 down] and it paid off in a spectacular way. The team is very resilient."

Fair play to him, a huge difference to what Martinez offered up after the City game for Stones V Sterling.

Everton's Roberto Martinez filled with 'pure anger' as officials cost Toffees at Chelsea
ROBERTO MARTINEZ slammed referee Mike Jones following Chelsea’s last-gasp equaliser at Stamford Bridge.

But Martinez was unhappy with the decision to allow the late goal, believing it to have been offside and after the allotted injury time.

"Anger, pure anger," Martinez said when asked how he felt.

"It's a clear-cut offside that should have been spotted. To make it worse, it's 50 seconds over time.

“It's something that's not good enough.

"There is no explanation. It's a big, big error."

@davek @MoutsGoat

That's missing the big picture. We're developing and we're fractions away.

If you don't see and accept that then there's nothing to talk about really.
Developing?

Not learning from past mistakes is all I see.

How many points are we going to throw away this season?

How many times are we going to concede 3 or more in a game?

totally bottled it the ref. every game i see, the proper alloted time is never taken up. mori didn't celebrate for a minute. retards run this sport, just stop the clock for every stoppage, will stop all this nonsence about added time.

They got a leg up off a corrupt official at home. Honest of him to admit it I suppose.

We have lost 5 games all season, the same amount as City who sit top, so frustrating.

Today was our own fault, as a team, not blaming the manager, honestly, even tho he picks Howard, it wasnt on Howard today, sure him and Jags screwed up on the goal which allowed them back, but to be 2-0 up and then 3-2 and still draw, its just a joke, not blaming El Coco here.

Just ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH
Totally agree
Individual error give Chelsea the belief today and we were on the back foot from then
A draw feels like a defeat and majorly gutted
But positive with the subs as we went for it, as opposed to trying to defend a point

This draw feels like a defeat

Must say never knew the stat against City

I've calmed a bit :). I now fully blame the referee and our Players and Martinez for his philosophy in equal measure.

I also blame Tim Howard because he should always get the blame no matter what. lol

Viva the 11th place entertainers, at least Newcastle challenged for titles when they had the same title.

Good night lads I've had enough for one day,
