Roberto Martinez discussion

We must be the neutral's favourite team this season, but 11th is still pretty unforgivable.

I'd be willing to give him one more season though, I just have the feeling that if this clicks, it'll click in a massive way. But that will depend on all of our current crop staying AND him adding another quality player or two.

We should be the Evertonian's favourite team as well.

It is pure theatre every week now.

I have never looked forward to games as much as I do these days......and I have been going a long, long time.

Viva Les Entertainers.....;)

There was no reason to add more time at all, let alone 2 more minutes. By the time Del lost the ball it was already hoofed up and down for about 1 minute, at any given point that we cleared it for about 5 straight crosses in - that should've been called. Instead, he let play go on and on and on.

2 minutes in football terms makes the world of a difference, and there were already 5 more than necessary of stoppage time, another 2 weren't really needed at all.
even if we cleared that last ball he wouldn't have blown it

Even the most staunch Martinez fan must be questioning how many football matches we win under him.

We ain't going down, but we ain't getting top 4 either. No point in saying he is building for something, as the best players will be sold if we don't get European football.

Pressure is on him to win a cup, let's pray he delivers.

there is every point in saying he is building for something. because he is.

its not going well right now, but he is.

we didnt get Europe last season and our young stars are still here.

i dont think its a given we will have a mass exodus if this season ends up with us midtable and without a trophy again

Don't waste your typing skills. He clearly won't go near how many games have been won in 18 months, it blows everything he has ever said away
Oh I know that. No bottle, just like Martinez' teams.

76 points from 180 avaliable and people are lauding those who are happy with us just being know as 'The Entertainers'

You are not wrong, but we don't win many matches mate, not concern you slightly?

Been brilliant this season.
His only downfall has been his bad luck that his keeper won't get injured to save Roberto from his embarrassing stubborness.

It's a given we won't have Rom and Stones, unless you are a bit daft like. They will both want to play at the best level possible and there will be serious bids for both.

Let's hope we can win a cup and they can be persuaded to give the Europa league a shot.

When we're 12th at the end of the season looking up at Palace, Watford, West Ham...that's what we'll remember
Well there's the difference then mate: you seem to be happy with finishing a solid 7th when the bigger picture is that we develop this team and cut out the nonsense for the future....primarily by getting rid of the GK.

I can't take all this seriously to be honest. It's pure knee jerk. I had thought you were a cut above it, but sadly not it seems.

Oh well....

We have lost 5 games all season, the same amount as City who sit top, so frustrating.

Today was our own fault, as a team, not blaming the manager, honestly, even tho he picks Howard, it wasnt on Howard today, sure him and Jags screwed up on the goal which allowed them back, but to be 2-0 up and then 3-2 and still draw, its just a joke, not blaming El Coco here.

Just ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH

Everton average attendances 2012-13 36 356
2013-14 37 332
2014-15 38 406
2015-16 38 473

Evertonians are turning up to see this team. They want to see entertaining football and are coming through the turnstiles.
