Roberto Martinez discussion

Martinez has a go at the ref and linesman in his post match comments, but he even manages to do it in a nice way..

Bobby I really wish you would come out spitting fire and calling them all a bunch of cheats (I'd add expletives but for the swear filter) and I'd have great respect and belief in you if you went into the dressing room and gave Jagielka,Stones,Funes Mori a tongue lashing for all falling to win the header, Deulofeu a slap for losing the ball in the 97th minute. And as for Tim Howard I'd understand if you just pissed in his face and sh## in his mouth.

But sadly I don't think your capable of doing this things BOBBY, because nice guys have nice players.

Nice guys win nowt

The club and large sections of the fan base have accepted mediocrity, and some are actively pushing it as something good... it is rife at the club and there is no drive to move to the next level which this squad is clearly capable of...

That's just complete and utter nonsense.

Under Moyes mediocrity was accepted. It's precisely the desire Martinez has for us to go out and win games and play the right way that causes problems.

Criticise him all you want but to say we've now accepted mediocrity at the club is absurd.

Referees arepaid alot of money to do their 'fulltime' job. Yes its hard because of the pace of the game and weall accept mistakes will happen but looking at your watch and seeing time is up shouldnt really be to difficult for a well paid professional. As i said nothing will happen.

well, its possible to add time in added time i think

but if thats the case i have no idea what hes added it for

Fine line between delirium on here to wanting to tear the manager a new one.

Today that fine line was a minute added on for pretty much no reason and then the linesman not seeing a blatant offside.

Losing the 2 goal lead was poor, but managing to score a winner anyway was great work. At 97 minutes, surely our job is done. Great win, well played, move on to Swansea.

But no. It's been a great game, why not let them play on for another minute? See if we can squeeze another goal out of it. Never mind the fact the time is up. Oh and if it's offside, just let it go. Sound.

I was on about you saying that people were screaming for him to be sacked.

Would you only focus on the games lost if it were Moyes?
So it is only 2 losses in 16 games then? Ok.

Not good enough for you is it? Maybe Tony Pulis or similar the eh.

Lol.

I am. To demand a sack of Everton manager after being robbed from a win at the Champions territory it's just silly and stupid.

We're not winning enough but we just played Chelsea. Away. And should have won if it wasn't for that thief. Get a grip.
Where did it say sack the manager?

Wow!

Even the most staunch Martinez fan must be questioning how many football matches we win under him.

We ain't going down, but we ain't getting top 4 either. No point in saying he is building for something, as the best players will be sold if we don't get European football.

Pressure is on him to win a cup, let's pray he delivers.

Oh this.

Stone and Rom off in the summer.

Let's see who spends the £60+ million

There was no reason to add more time at all, let alone 2 more minutes. By the time Del lost the ball it was already hoofed up and down for about 1 minute, at any given point that we cleared it for about 5 straight crosses in - that should've been called. Instead, he let play go on and on and on.

2 minutes in football terms makes the world of a difference, and there were already 5 more than necessary of stoppage time, another 2 weren't really needed at all.

2 points from last 2 games would prob have been ok, everything is so confusing atm in the way we are losing/drawing games...some winnable games coming up and transfer window open, so...

we HAVE to judge him at the end of the season, there are no obvious candidate to replace him, we are exciting yet defensively bizarre..lets see how it goes
