Roberto Martinez discussion

Answered yourself there my man.

I am as frustrated as anyone. But we wouldn't be sitting here with the hope and excitement with a Moyes/O'Neill/Pulis/"Insert any dross British recycled Manager here".

I'm not sitting here with much hope/excitement after the last 18 months. Funnily enough though, I did have a lot of that when Moyes was in charge and we were chasing down Champions League places...

You disparage Pulis but he currently has a West Brom side sitting two points below us. I doubt he'd do any worse with our squad?

Ha Ha Ha Ha.

Oh, you're serious?

It's a genuine point. Alan Pardew with his Crystal Palace side currently sit above us, is he a better manager than Martin O'Neill? I don't know/particularly care, but I just don't understand people saying that we'd be performing at a lower level than we are now with some of these managers in charge.

You wouldn't be seeing these players, that's for sure. RM brought them and they'll be off like a shot if he left.

Glad to see him flip his lid today. Can never moan at a manager showing passion.
Seen to many mentions of Moyes today and shutting up shop.
Doesn't always work.
I think for once he got everything right today. Unfortunate not to see the 3 points and get a bit of praise.

We're very much in a false position, a decent keeper and we'd be top 5 minimum. We outplay most teams and score for fun, let down by the buffoon in goal, thats bobbys main failing not dropping him

I'd love to believe that in the summer we replace the goalkeeper and next season we'll be flying high. I'd sacrifice whatever place we finish this year for that.

Problem is that we all said last year was a blip (myself included) yet we've found ourselves in this position again.

how many seasons was that? 2 out of 11?

It's the keeper, no doubt in my mind he's a massive part of the problem only have to look at the difference when Joel plays. I'd wager a large amount Howard won't be here next year but its up to bobby to stop being stubborn an drop him right away while we can still achieve a fair bit this season

Pretty much same old errors...ticks 'Yes' box

Seemingly no lessons learned...ticks 'No' box

Probably copy&paste this with the odd minor change for next game...ticks 'Yes' box.

And yet we could get a result at City...ticks 'Yes' box.

If we put in 2 complete performances ( we all know which 2 ) all will, sadly by most, be forgiven, reluctantly ticks 'Yes' box.
