Why? I dont get that at all. He was offside. Its not even debatable."Martinez has NO RIGHT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT TERRY GOAL"

Any excuse to beat the manager with a stick and there will be a select few fighting over it.I just think there have been occasions where naive game management has been an issue. Bournemouth being the prime example.
Going to Chelsea and scoring more legitimate goals than the opposition should be the primary aim with the hope that the officials can...well...officiate sufficiently.
If we want to discuss game management then the subject of such debate should be the officials imo. I just can't see how this game is one to use as a stick to beat the manager with.
I get that people are annoyed. I am too. But I thought we were terrific on Saturday, I really do.
I agree the optimism level is higherI think this is the final next week, I have the upmost confidence we'll beat the winners of the other semi although beating City is a big ask but very do-able for this side.
Even when we were 1 up in the cup final v Chelsea or getting favourable draws at the business end of comps in years gone by I've always felt that we'd never actually win them but it's different this time.
The last time I felt like this was 95, when strangely a lot of people also felt we were going to win it quite early on.
Talking sense on here will get you nowhereThis sums it up perfectly for me
Think people are trying to tie what happened on Saturday into a longer-running theme
Yes, we have been naive and managed games badly at times this season - through a combination of inexperience and poor play from our players and lack of subs at the right times etc from Martinez. It has undoubtedly been a problem. Bournemouth and Stoke immediately jump out as examples
Saturday, to my eyes, simply doesn't fall into that category.
One goal is individual mistakes from Howard (again) and Jags, another is a deflected shot where we'd actually defended well and got a good block in and the third is just plain wrong.
We have ourselves to blame for a lot of what has gone wrong at times this season but Martinez is well within his rights to defend the team about what unfolded on Saturday
Funny for me as allot of people say he is to nice to the media, but when he has a rant he is a kopite or a cry baby.Had we got some points on the board or any league form at all he wouldn't have had to resort to these cry baby tactics of blaming the officials to deflect his own failings.

Getting concerned now as seeing to many sensible postsWe're so close to doing something really special and some posters want to sack him and get Pullis or a guy who manages Watford, who they don't even know the name of, to replace him.
Unbelievable ...
We're playing the best football I've seen us play since the 80's. Using and developing more of our youngsters than I've ever seen us do and yet some people, rather than give him more time, want shot of him so we can go back to taking knives to gunfights.
It's shocking.
I swear, it feels like RM is under more pressure than LVG at United in some ways, despite the fact he has a fraction of the money to spend that any of the big clubs do.
I hope we go on a 10 game winning run and every single poster who has implied they want him out gets vaulted.
For me it would be because I believe, possibly wrongly, that it is easier to sort out defensive issues than it is creative attacking ones.Cannot get my head around anyone wanting to retain Martinez in the event of two bottom half finishes with this squad. Mental.
