Roberto Martinez discussion

crap last season

some very good stuff this season and the team has the fight in them to keep coming back from behind.

some awful defending at times, but should be remembered we were without Baines and Jags and playing with two very young defenders and one just new to the league.

cant agree with him on not giving Robles a chance in the league. or on us not pressing as a team.

not generally had much luck with injuries. its a factor but not the biggest one.

i still love watching this team and look forward to each game more than i have done for many seasons.

we are messing up some games like today but in others not getting the results the performance deserves.

we are not going to explode and cease to exist as a club by having patience with the manager.

overall. hoping for better and still fully behind the boss.

You know if we had a different manager we'd still play good football with this set of players but we'd also actually win games?

I just can't fathom this belief we're actually doing well but we've been unlucky.

Getting very difficult to defend Bobby now I'm afraid. Always believed he could deliver on his top 4 promise. Starting to think he is just too unwilling to acknowledge his own shortcomings to get past them.

What are the board's expectations for him? 3rd full season here, and we're likely to finish around 10th in the most open league in years. It's not good enough. I like Martinez, but persisting with a failing solution isn't exactly inspiring. He's been backed more than Moyes, and he's still not getting even equivalent results.

I still see progress in amongst all this, I can see the future Bobby is trying to map out for us and I'm happy to wait until next season to bear the fruits of his labour. We just need to get behind him and look long term.
That sounds like a post I'd expect from Moomin

If those mistakes that have led to opposition goals are still apparent by the end of the season, I'll want him gone, because it'll be conclusive evidence he's not prepared to change.
