Yep, and - as he's stated on SO many occasions - he's NOT willing to compromise on how he sets his team up. And that, my friend, now becomes worrying...

As long as it's not Phil Neville I'm not arsed who replaces him. Can't really do much worse with the players we've got.

I was wondering how long it'd be before this one came out.

Any player will tell you they: "just get on with it" when there's a potential takeover. Why should this be affecting our performances any differently?

Players have been told they're not getting sold; other have recently signed or extended their contracts. I doubt very much this supposed takeover
is anything to do with results, tbh.
 

Robert on 5live now ' We played excellently, i thought Tim Howard kept us in it when it could have been 1-3, i enjoyed some of the build up play involving Geri & its unfortunate that Besic has come off. Sadly it looks like his season is over now'

When pressed over transfers ' No, we have a good squad and January is difficult to get the type of players that are available '.

agree on Howard. so tired of him, although i have excused the manager for much of the season in picking him as to be honest a lot of managers go with their experienced keeper and back them when in poor form. however its gone on too long now. he is the only one who has brought last seasons form into this season

Genuinely admire your vision and patience. Thought we had turned a defensive corner but today that feels like yet another false dawn. Timing of Besic injury couldn't be worse. Between now and end of season, I need some evidence that he is making adjustments. Drop Howard, buy in a player. Something.
