Roberto Martinez discussion

And we have concede 12 away from home in 11 games. That was my point. The question I posed was, 'last week Martinez was under achieving with this squad, can the same be said today?
Of course it can! What difference does today make?

This is a terrific group of players, the manager currently isn't doing his job.

And, you will know at the away games that we can defend. How did the defence, in your opinion look at Stamford Bridge when you were there? Good or bad>
What on earth is this monstrosity.

You're off your head mate.

If you think anybody gives a toss that we have only conceded 12 goals away from home when this.

Is the bigger picture.

This is the best squad this club has had in 20 years.

It's 12th

We have dropped 107 points from the last 183 avaliable.

We have won 1 in 10, 6 in 23 and 18 in 61.

We have the leagues top scorer and have amassed the 2nd highest goals in the league, yet their are 11 teams ahead of us.

So I'll finish where I started, if you think that anyone is settling down tonight, thinking to themselves that things aren't that bad because 'we've only conceded 12 goals away from home in the league' then I make you bang wrong.

I bet you're one of those LikeMonkeys who follow Dave around when he calls Everton 'The Entertainers' yet in defence of Martinez all you have is this pith.

i hope i am wrong but it looks as though Martinez's obsession with silverware affects his focus on the league -
The FA Cup had his side relegated -
The European Cup turned his side from 5th to a bottom half team -
The Capital One Cup sees his side hovering a couple of points above the relegation zone -
in his first season without Cup distraction he had his best season in the leauge

I think it's more his obsession with suicidal tactics.

Last week it was 'Martinez is under achieving with this squad of players. The same can't be said today when the player themselves were 'under achieving'.

Ok so over a period of time including out of match day time such as training sessions, and the fact that the manager picks the team and is responsible for recruitment- at what point is the manager absolved of responsibility? e.g. said player has a stinker, said player is benched; a very normal process in the pro game.
Are you saying this is the first instance of players under achieving this season?

I'll say it again.
6 wins in 23 -6???

Aye I worry about Wednesday more so with the injuries picked up today.

Can't see us getting through, and the fume will be palpable.

since when is 8 points 'a couple'?

So getting a draw at Chelsea is down to Martinez, but losing at home to Swansea is down to the players?
Like Martinez, you seem to invent reasons for everything, rather than trying to solve problems.

The leagues 'top scorer' was off the pace and didn't get on to the end of Deulofeu's crosses. The leagues top scorer doesn't alter the fact that we have concede 12 goals in 11 away games. As you will tell me, it looked different live at the game today. I am sure you are going to tell me that, watching it live in the ground today Lukaku didn't quite make it because...

I repeat we have concede 12 goals away from home in 11 games, better than any other Everton manager has achieved. It's not hard to grasp really. We can defend away from home as we did at City..

You do realise that 'we have dropped 107 points from the last 183 available' and 'we have won 1 in 10, 6 in 23 and 18 in 61' is also a pith - an essence of something. Surely, you do. You can't be that ....

Oh dear. A LikeMonkey. I'll finish were I started we have concede 12 goals in 11 away games.
