Roberto Martinez discussion

That really sums it up, 18 in 61 is absolutely awful, roughly a 29% win rate. That is simply not good enough for the squad of players at his disposal
True, I've been boring the tits off people with this stat for months, obviously tweaking when apprpriate, unfortunately for all Evertonians the only number that has significantly changed is the games played total.

The idea of Martinez is a lot nicer than the reality.

What on earth is this monstrosity.

You're off your head mate.

If you think anybody gives a toss that we have only conceded 12 goals away from home when this.

Is the bigger picture.

This is the best squad this club has had in 20 years.

It's 12th

We have dropped 107 points from the last 183 avaliable.

We have won 1 in 10, 6 in 23 and 18 in 61.

We have the leagues top scorer and have amassed the 2nd highest goals in the league, yet their are 11 teams ahead of us.

So I'll finish where I started, if you think that anyone is settling down tonight, thinking to themselves that things aren't that bad because 'we've only conceded 12 goals away from home in the league' then I make you bang wrong.

I bet you're one of those LikeMonkeys who follow Dave around when he calls Everton 'The Entertainers' yet in defence of Martinez all you have is this pith.

Very true. The entertainers .... Britain's got talent. I've yet to see any sports team succeed on being just entertaining. And u can't call the harlem globetrotters a sports team . RM doesnt seem to have the brain cells to understand we are here to win football matches first and foremost. I'll get ye into the champions league ....:) ") :) ")

The leagues 'top scorer' was off the pace and didn't get on to the end of Deulofeu's crosses. The leagues top scorer doesn't alter the fact that we have concede 12 goals in 11 away games. As you will tell me, it looked different live at the game today. I am sure you are going to tell me that, watching it live in the ground today Lukaku didn't quite make it because...

I repeat we have concede 12 goals away from home in 11 games, better than any other Everton manager has achieved. It's not hard to grasp really. We can defend away from home as we did at City..

You do realise that 'we have dropped 107 points from the last 183 available' and 'we have won 1 in 10, 6 in 23 and 18 in 61' is also a pith - an essence of something. Surely, you do. You can't be that ....

Oh dear. A LikeMonkey. I'll finish were I started we have concede 12 goals in 11 away games.

You really do talk nonsense. We are 12th in the league. The league table does not lie.

We have an incompetent manger, but you seem determined to dredge up any oddball statistic in a desperate attempt to defend him. Will you still do this if we get relegated?

Ah, "The entertainers"

Years ago, Christians were thrown to the lions for 'entertainment'. I don't think them romans were too entertained when the Christians kept walking away unscathed.

Ah the usual last stand of semantic riddles. When will you accept that the manager is responsible for results?

Lukaku didn't get on the end of Duelofeu's crosses. He wasn't brave or strong enough today. Martinez is being castigated for 'under achieving' with this group of players. The names mentioned are Lukaku, Stones, Deulofeu and Barkley. Lukaku and Stones were poor today - not the mangers fault.Barkley was ok the first half nowhere to be seen for most of the second half. Deulofeu was nowhere the first but livened up the second and put in 3 good crosses.

So what you are saying is, that Martinez is to blame for the bad performances of those that he is under achieving with?

Its all about results this game. Its simple. For a year and half now we haven't been winning many games. There has to come a time for everyone to say enough is enough. I'd like to know from people who are still fully behind Martinez why they are. Not to have a go but just to see if I'm missing something.
