Roberto Martinez discussion

Roberto will see out his contract if BK is still in control of club affairs.

By that time we'll have our style of play cemented in place and the playing revolution complete. With additions to the squad to revitalise a defence that isn't as good as we all thought it was, then we can be in a very commanding position by 2018/19.

I wasn't knocking coming 4th....I was trying to understand why you constantly post negatively where Everton are concerned and why you felt there was a huge difference between finishing 4th and getting into Europe for one two-legged game on the back of dull, workmanlike football and finishing 5th with some of the best football we've seen for many a season. Seems that that 180 minutes really made an impression. I went to both legs, enjoyed the experience, but am enjoying the direction we're heading in right now.
I'd say your tone was insulting....perhaps it's just the way you refer to Evertonians.

Anyhow, we should all be celebrating today.
My tone was not insulting at all,i just could not understand you belittling us finishing 4th and going out early in the champions league.
I don't constantly post negative towards everton either i just don't want martinez here.
If you are going to accuse me of something at least get your facts right.
But like you say a new major shareholder is worth celebrating

12th in the table and 4 home wins in 8 months you know roberto is on his way pal

Unless Moshiri wants to make a statement and appoints someone like Mourinho (far fetched I know) I can see Martinez being safe for the time being. If cash is splashed on players this summer and results continue as they are then Martinez will and should be out on his ear.

Just give it up now mate.

If you cant work out from what happened yesterday and the cementing of BK for the foreseeable what's just happened you're beyond help.

Martinez is stabilized.

It's over. Find another cause.

Its never over mate with roberto in charge.
The pressure is going to be cranked up now for some home league wins and a charge up the table and rightly so.
Its up to el coco now is he the man or not?

If Villa beat us on Tuesday, oh the fume.

If moshiri wants to improve our commercial viability then that means regular Europa football pushing towards regular CL footy.

Bobbys position will be under more scutiny if he fails to under achieve. Big commercial sponsorship deals rely on regular success, one does not come without the other

Martinez will be bricking it after yesterday

No longer the safest job in the land

Reckon he will be rubbing his hands together. He can now go out and compete for ready made players of a standard that were only in reach of the Sky darlings if he wants but I cannot see him veering away from the buying potential and building for the long term at all. Man City will be going that way also. Good news for RM which will see his structure in place a lot quicker than the slow build.

He will be bricking it after taking us backwards.
At last a new owner that will want answers and trophies
